You are a really respectable man and you often come to us with very wonderful information, and most of us most of us need it most..For those considering converting this film and using it in still cameras, I've received a response to a question I sent to someone I know who I would describe as a well informed and eminently reliable source.
"There should be no concerns in processing the 135 format E100 or the motion picture 5294 in a home tank, Jobo, Sidekick or external lab processor. They should process out the same or nearly identical to each other. The dye statement added to the 5294 Data Sheet is added more as information to (motion picture) labs that are used to ECN-2 or B&W chemistries and processors that there are different dyes and different reactions that have different colors that will come out when processing an E-6 product. Some of this is due to the anti-halation dyes used in the film which are very different than those used in B&W films where no rem-jet backing is employed."
my film shipped today and should arrive fri. pretty fast, 2 day fedex across the country for only $10. hopeing to shoot a few rolls this weekend and then since its supposed to rain a little on monday maybe develop them then. 93 degrees tomorrow, then 53 on mon. these temp swings are killing my hiking and photo outings.well, took a leap and ordered a 400 footer. should get it next week. hoping it was a good use of some of my tax return

directly from eastman motion picture film divisionWhere did you order from?
Can you link to a source for the printable files (.stl or equivalent) for that? I've been looking for one of those almost since I got my Ender 3. It should just about fit on the build plate if they didn't go overboard on thickness, since a 400 foot roll is only about 6 1/2 inches diameter (and I have 8x8xalmost 10 inche build volume). One loads direct from the 400ft roll to a cassette.
Also, are there any other U.K. shooters that might be interested in doing a ‘bulk’ bulk order and then splitting this up over on this side of the pond?
This is fantastic news given the price difference! Now, how to get some of these bulk rolls over to the U.K…
Does anyone have any idea how safe these might be to get shipped internationally in terms of X-rays etc? Also, are there any other U.K. shooters that might be interested in doing a ‘bulk’ bulk order and then splitting this up over on this side of the pond?
But see here too:

The lab is going to be most concerned that it isn't something with remjet like Vision.
Anyone that works in a lab should easily spot a RemJet-backed film. It’s really easy to see that the film is completely black on the base side. I don’t remember any other films that look that way.
Can anybody recommend a safe and reliable way to split a 400' or 1000' roll into 100' rolls?
film cassettes are often loaded into the processing machinery in complete darkness
Even for E6? At least in Brazil, where I used to live, E6 was done manually and the people at the counter would ask all kinds of questions about the film, even using a film retriever to see it, should they be suspicious…
Even for E6. The lab I use often runs several E6 runs each business day in their moderately large capacity dip and dunk line.
