Just download the demo for Bricscad, Ultimate will be enabled by default, shape is built in as the free option. I tried Bricscad on Linux and it ran fine, seemed to mirror the windows version well.

When you get the demo, you might want to just run Shape so that you don't have to step backwards later.

So it does run on Linux? Might be helpful if the web site gave that information up front...

I'll try to give it a try soon.

I see FreeCAD still getting all kinds of top picks, I might see if the updates since I last used it have fixed a couple really troublesome bugs. It has the advantage that I'm already familiar with it...

As it is always said remjet to be needed in cine cameras to lubricate the film and protect it against scratches, I always wondered how comes that only color negative uses it. The cameras dont run slower or pull the film with less force when loaded with BW or positive.

Most likely because the motion picture labs that were/are set up to process long loads of black and white film were never set up to deal with the remjet.
Even Kodak is/was generally reluctant to attempt to introduce product that is/was incompatible with existing infrastructure that services a base of large volume commercial users.
