I'm sorry, I forgot to acknowledge the reception. I have the negative at home, and hope to print it this week-end.

Hi folks,

I'm absolutely sorry, but my hectic work schedule did not give time to get in the darkroom for the last 6 weeks, and this does not seem to be better in the coming weeks.

If it's an issue, I can post the negative to the next person in row, as I expect to find/make some time not earlier than early november.

Ralph, could you send me your mail adress so that I can prepare the nevelope?

I'm 57 years old and on the 22nd on the list, at this rate I might not live long enough to print one

Maybe we should make a rule - max one moth you can have the negative - then you must ship is to the next person?

Winter is not here yet, but I got to the darkroom and printed the negative ;-)
As soon as I get Ralph's address, I'll send the negative again.

Here is the result of my last printing session.
I tried to print lighter, but the results never pleased me, so I went back to this rather contrasty print. I feel it corresponds to what I imagine from the scene, I even discovered the cars on the right have their headlights on, which is what I expect from such a day.

Anna Calvi and Amy Winehouse were a great help for this!

Thanks for sending the print, and the inspiration it brought! I spent half of today in the darkroom, trying to contact print my backlog in MF... I plan on doing the same for 35mm tomorrow!

It's been nine and a half months since Colin DeWolfe received the reverse negative. I tried to contact him several times since then and he promised quite a few times that he will forward the negative to the next one in the list but he didn't.
It is very sad to me but I have to say that we have a dead end here and I suggest to think twice of sending the original traveling negative to this colleague.
I am sorry that I had to add this bitter comment to our fantastic conversation.
