Just saw this thread now. I'd certainly be interested in making a print!

Thanks for the support. Need to scan them properly but here's a preview (iPhone capture)

Paper: Forte Bromofort (80's) BN-4 13x18cm
Developer: Chugai (Japan) 1:9 90sec 25C
Toning: Moersch Siena 1:50 180seconds

Here's while toning:

And here are the two prints, identical except the toning:

I really like the tone on that siena version! I've thought about trying that toner, now I think I'll order some!

Thank you all for the kind words!

Ned - the toner works really well with the Forte paper I have but when I tried it with Ilford, I didn't like the outcome. It requires some adjusting (mix ratio / length of toning etc I was told). But since I print 90% of the times on Forte paper I don't bother experimenting as it just works out of the box beautifully.

By all means try it, the solution keeps really well and can be simply replenished when losing its strength.

Any news of the reverse negative?

Yeah. I have it.

It's been in my enlarger since I received it, and work and volunteer commitments (never become the treasurer of a gallery) has kept me from getting to it.
If I don't get to it this weekend, I will forward it along.

When the negative was here, I made some enlarged inter-positives to work with later. I'm starting some new experiments with an oil printing process, and needed a 5x7 inch test negative, so I made one today. I'll enjoy seeing this image a lot over the next few months! If I make a "real" print from this, it will use a lower contrast negative than this one - but this is perfect for my tests. Sitting in the wash tray ( lots of reflections in this snapshot...the negative doesn't have any streaks or different colors in the sky - only some clouds! ):

I've sent the negative to Laurent in France quite some time ago but haven't heard from him since. I hope it made the trip ok  I'll scan the print once I have some time to do it, currently too busy doing wedding work.

Hello again,

Have processes the photo in now on the flatbed. I must say I suck at this, the paper just looks so much better. Anyways here it is - please do the honours and upload to flickr.

Looking forward to the upcoming prints!

I guys! Unfortunately I'm in the midst of a move and I'm not sure when I will be able to setup my darkroom in the next months, so I will probably have to pass
