forwardNegLith30Scaled.jpg
forwardNegLith30Scaled.jpg I mailed the forward negative to Loren Sattler Tuesday. This print was on Foma Var IV 123 developed in Moersch SE5 1+1+40 and 20 mLs Omega Intensifier. This was great and I'm looking forward to working with the reverse negative.

Great to see new upload - thanks for a great lith print ! Foma papers and Moersch chemicals are working together really nice.
Darkosaric, This is a wonderful negative to work with, very flexible. Do you recall the details of the exposure/developer combination? I've had issues with TMY highlight density but that isn't an issue with this negative.

Is someone still tracking the mileage on this project?

I just double checked - I thought I used TriX, but actually it was Fomapan 400, developed in Rodinal 1+50. Leica M6 + Summicron 50mm type 3. Exposed at iso 320, I think it was something around 1/250s at f5,6.

Is it allowed to make a digital inter-negative for alt-photo contact printing within this exchange?

Then I would like to join, if possible. But I won't be needing the actual negative itself, just a proper scan of it to make the digital inter-negative. I will run it along the next time I'll make alt-photo prints (don't know what process yet).

What do you mean with forward negative?

The negative of the bridge (sorry, I don't remember where it is) is the "forward negative".

Soon after that negative started it's journey, someone (I don't remember who either) had the idea to introduce a second negative, that would go the opposite route —starting from the last person on the list. It was called the "reverse negative".

This reverse negative is "lost".

Cheers,
Flavio

Paris negative arrived from dburian and has been printed. Attached is a scan.

Enlarger: Leitz Focomat I

Developer: LPD
Base exposure 19 seconds, #2 Ilford filter with 5 second dodge of lower LH corner
Burn sky 12 seconds with #00 filter

Ivanlow has not responded to my message for his address in about a week. Since I am leaving town for a week, I am sending the negative to howardpan in Taiwan tomorrow so it will not get held up any longer. Howardpan can try Ivanlow after he is done printing. Darkosaric, please adjust the list accordingly. Thanks, Loren

I received the negative this morning from Loren Sattler in Ohio. I am traveling to Laos and Thailand for the next few days. I will make a print next weekend after I'm back. In the mean time, I will ask ivanlow for his address. If I don't hear from him before I'm done, I will forward the negative to the next person. By the way, how do we communicate how far the negative has traveled.
