Mid June and still no film for me.
Mid June and still no film for me.
I ordered it on the 15th March at 16:02, the day the shop opened.Ricardo, how long after the website opened did you place your order? I waited a few days to let things settle down and I expect there are a lot of people ahead of me so it will be a while before mine arrives.
It would certainly be possible, and I apologise if my tone was accusatory, that was not intended, my batch is P30.17.001 I understand .002 is now shipping and may have different marking and as stated it is alpha so variation is possible between runs.
I know everyone is getting excited about their P30, but, any news on the colour film?
Ratty, I am asking Ricardo, who just got his film, when he ordered. When did you order? It may just be that you are farther back in the queue. I ordered several days after it opened and don't expect my film for a while.
I have posted that image in reply 2613 in this thread, and commented on the second marking the "safety 10D" which I didn't trouble to scan.I would still love to see what markings your batch has, and for that matter anyone else who gets a batch with different markings...
and to be honest this is not looking too good...why some films have ferrania and frame numbers and some don't?

Happy to scan and post but not tomorrow, the paying job intervenes! The Ferrania 15 marking is the one that we expected to see, (it corresponds to what FF posted on their web site) it is the other one that might be of interest.
You might be right. For some reasons I thought that after five years they'd figured out how to use their machines. Perhaps one day they'll figure out how to make colour reversal film...Because they are figuring out how to use the machine?
Unless some disgruntled italian realises someone somewhere in Italy wants to actually do something and burns the factory down. You might be right. Calculate the percentage of individual idiots, not the percentage of their posts and you'll see APUG is a pretty good place to beThe kickstarter funds were EXPLICITLY for the purpose of purchasing various machines, moving them from buildings which were being demolished, and reinstalling them in the LRF.
The funds were used for just that purpose.
This seems beyond the understanding of a lot of people here. I honestly wonder how you operate a box camera...and assume you dictate your posts to someone with enough brain cells to type.
Really people how many times do you have to be told what the money was for?
Seriously thinking of just giving up on APUG due to the utter idiocy on this thread.

Adox is going to take 6-9 months (starting to look more like a year) just to transfer production of an existing B&W emulsion to another active machine that didn't spend 10 years in mothballs.
People, take a pill or something.
So they never said they'd eventually produce colour reversal film. No, they just wanted to money to move some machinery from a building to another. Now we should be grateful if we have another bw film and no signs of any upcoming reversal film. The kickstarter funds were EXPLICITLY for the purpose of purchasing various machines, moving them from buildings which were being demolished, and reinstalling them in the LRF.

I'm pretty sure many people (and backers) thought that they asked for money to put on the market a new reversal film available both for motion picture and still photography, but you might be right: they might have used the money just to move some machinery from a building to another. In this case we should be really greatful to have a new black and white film along withe the other dozens of different emulsion types we have. The kickstarter funds were EXPLICITLY for the purpose of purchasing various machines, moving them from buildings which were being demolished, and reinstalling them in the LRF.
