those spools are interesting. I like the design.
I do as well. I made sure that the ones I was keeping more of the newer design rather than the older one with metal clip.

My 70mm journey started when I accidentally bought a few Hasselblad 70mm cassettes with NASA labels on them. I thought I might discover lost photos of aliens, but unfortunately/fortunately no. The film inside were blanks.

Were they Kodak Tri-X pan by any chance? I also ordered a second A70 back and received it with a full cassette in it. Brand new retail cassettes. Which I thought was intersting. Not bulk loaded. I should shoot it even if I don't have a mean to develop it. Would anyone know if they made 320 and/or 400 TX? I was going to guess ISO 125, maybe I should just shoot it as 60.

I believe that Tri-x 320 was and is only made as sheets. So it’s almost certainly 400TXP

Ok thanks. I will need to see how it performs with over exposure. Not knowing how it was store, nor its age, it's a little tough to gauge how to shoot it.

Nope - from the 2007 datasheet:

In case it makes any difference, the cassette here look like from the 80's maybe 90's. Also, those are different SKUs, the 15-ft preloaded cassette as 70mm long roll. The paragraphe above says in 2007 the 400TX existed in that format, so I understand the 320TX were not.
Anywho, they are loaded now, but I can take a picture later once I unload them after shooting. Also once developed, I will be able to see what it was! lol.

As a side note, am I the only one romanticizing the 70mm cassettes? That format is so much better than the 35mm ones!
