Is the Pentacon Six TL a rangefinder?

No.

The TL in the name may give you a hint, because you view Through (the) Lens.

Ugh, Now I feel like Patrick, about to ask Squidward, if mayonnaise is an instrument! Thanks Matt, I guess I should learn more photography terminology, plus, I should go out and shoot more, only, I hope this time, I recall which ISO was in my Pentacon SIX TL!

Just got my hands on a Yashica lynx 5000e for about 13€, with original case and all!. Going through my first roll, and will hopefully develop next week. It seems to work, just need to get som hearing aid batteries to see if the meter is working.

Good Day I Think

Received a Rapid Omega 200 in the mail today and then stopped by a Thrift Store and picked up a Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII for 15 bucks, clean lens and the shutter, aperture, timer work and the battery compartment is corrosion free.

Zeiss Ikon Contessa folder, meter not working,(normal for most metered cameras of the period) but apart from that working perfectly, and in great cosmetic condition as well, just waiting for some decent weather to put some film though it

Leica M6. I've kept 120 cameras for years but this is my first 35mm since art school - 1976

An Agfa Isolette III, with the Solinar lens and an uncoupled rangefinder built in. When I bought it, it was all gummed up with the Agfa "green goo"; now I've cleaned it and adjusted the rangefinder and put it all back together with new bellows, it's a treat to use. Not had anything developed from it yet ... I have a feeling this camera might expose my limitations in a way my digital and 35mm stuff does not!

Box of filters ended up having filters and: an original Leica LTM-M adapter, M3 flash plastic plugs/caps, M3 flash adapters, Canon LTM-FD adapter (3 of them, one in chromed brass (usually aluminium)), Novoflex M:LTM adapter (only really useful for bellows, I suppose) and some other RF odds n ends. Can't complain about that one!

I also picked up a 100mm shoe mount viewfinder for my Canon 100/3.5. Need to do some portraits with that tiny little lens (34mm filter version).

FED 5c + I61LD to see what the fuss is about on the Lanthanum glass Industar.

After having a FED 3b (flat top) for a while, I see what people are talking about when they say build quality suffered in later models. The 5c feels like a poorly made toy.

Yashica Minister III. Looks to be in good condition apart from some evidence of light seal degradation on the back door. Shall have a good look at it in the daylight tomorrow. Light meter, shutter and rangefinder all are OK, though.

Bought a Petri 7s to go with my new Minister II. Two cameras on the go with test films and I am needed at work more than I am happy with. Should get both films finished over the weekend.
