A handful of small lens pouches from the miscellaneous used stuff box in the local brick and mortar camera store.

I recently got a Nikon S2 with the 50mm 1.4 lens. I tend to gravitate more towards SLRs, but I just finished putting a roll through it and I really liked the feel of shooting with it. Can't wait to develop it later and see how my shots turned out.

A new filter pouch to help tidy up the backpack a little more. Has the ability to hang off the tripod once opened up, which I like the idea of(aside from windy days)

I’ve been looking for a good universal, not too big/heavy zoom for my EOS 650, and I finally found a 28-135 IS in pristine condition. IS works as intended.

This and it has made my life simpler. I can finally cut negatives accurately, I always struggled with scissors.

Are the C stands worth the extra bucks? I've looked at them but got B&H's Impact boom stand, mostly metal. lol Never seem to have enough sandbags.

I have plenty of second hand " three leg" stands, usually about $30 -$45 for three, but when I free lanced, I liked the heavier "C" type for their weight, clamps included, so yes, I think they're better stands but a pain for location shooting, because of the multi piece assembly, weight.

Amazon offered a good discount on these one set only offer, so I jumped on it.

The sandbags are well priced, but if you grab some intact blue jeans at thrift shops, yardsales and Salvation Army discount day, the legs make good bags, one set per jeans.

Cheers

These are $4.50 each in packs of 4. Saddle Bag style with 2 top strap handles.
4x Counter Balance Sandbags Sand Bag for Photo Studio Light Stand Boom Arm

Interesting, B&H Impact stand are light but I wonder how durable.

With so much on the market, I’d shy away from the cheapest and top expense offerings.
Simple fabrics will allow fine sands to bleed through, so pay attention to linings for painted/rubberized barriers.
These are actually very good. 2 layers of heavy fabric and 2 zippers on each side. 4 years on the first set and they are wearing well.

Don't need to on these but putting the sand in a gallon freezer bag inside the sand bag would eliminate leakage.
