[Manual Camera]

The first Guerry shutter (simply flapped) was introduced in 1879, followed by versions with two flaps, a flap and a curtain, and then models with two curtains. Intended for studio cameras, they were made in many sizes. Most models are allowed to be fixed either outside or inside the camera. Virtually unchanged, the Guerry shutters remained on the market until the 1940s.
