Just ordered a new replacement bellow for my Agfa Isolette III, it should arrive soon.

A new-to-me Zone VI 4x5. I bought it badly broken for a very reasonable sum, and a couple of weeks later with a new block of mahogany and my router table it works again.

A JJC 35mm canister opener. This was in hopes it would work better than you usual bottle opener that sometimes struggles to get a grip on the rim of the canister. It's not clear this is any better.

Amusingly, the ad declared this tool to be used for opening 35mm AND 120 film ... go figure.

Very Well Done!!!
Thank you! If you look really closely you'll see a slight color mismatch in the stain I used on the new parts (the front focus rail) and the adjoining parts of the camera body. It's never quite perfect, but it works nonetheless.

Searching for a Super Ikonta I stumbled on an auction for what I think is a much rarer camera. Price was too high and there were no bids so I made the seller an offer of what I’d pay if there were no takers. No one bid and he accepted my number. Condition looks great. This Bessa RF or Bessa E Messer with Heliar lens and a 645 mask is on the way to me.

I purchased the Konica 1000mm ARMS lens

Minolta Maxxum A mount 24 to 50mm and 35 to 105mm zoom lenses to supplement my A mount primes

A 100-foot roll of Kodak Tr-X 400 ASA for reloading as I never disposed of my darkroom processing equipment.

Delta 100 in 120, a Gepe shutter release cable, a 75mm Grandagon and a new 4x5 field camera!

This is what I have

Pardon my old geezer memory, but I looked at my Leica film cans and they are the bakelite type, like yours.

I didn't see all of them but I guess they are all like this, so I apologize for wasting your time and my misinformation.

Godspeed to all,
Eli

A 3D, four thread printer for making lens caps, tops for developing cans and tanks, Lume Pro barn doors, honeycomb masks, etc.

One thing I particularly I'm looking forward making is a jig for single thickness fiber cable to run from a 283 or 285 Vivitar flash thruster from the flash windows, so super short burst of light can be made within extension tubes or macro lenses depth of field, simply by trimming the cable to lengths just long enough give a wave of light.

I use old Kodak metal cans for some films, those are the best. Not sure if they will work with the Leica cassettes? I'm an old geezer too, I can't remember what day it is 🤣

They likely won't.

I have one Leica metal can, it's quite a bit taller than the old Kodak metal ones (I have a bunch of those).

You're correct. The Leica cassettes fit current Kodak plastic cans, that's fortunate as the Leica cans are fragile and hard to find

A Leica digital rangefinder for way too much money that I might want to return if I can't enjoy using it with longer lenses.

Even after my cataract operations, my "normal" vision is faulty and I want sharp focus and this seemed the best choice for my 6x6 photography, but my limited budget is fussing about the expense and the depth of my need for such an expensive solution.
