An orphaned Kodak Retina Reflex IV has found a new home.

Surprisingly, it's working well. I guess it has not been serviced ever. As usual speeds are out of range, but usable (if you are very picky, correcting ISO in the light meter).

Picked up 3 rolls of Kodak HIE Infrared 35mm at a garage sale. The film was from the 1980s and had 20 exposures. Couldn't pass it up. I have loaded one roll in to my F1N so tomorrow I am off to see if it is still any good.

Would love to see your results!

Got a "Camolo Release baseplate" (aka a Digital Foto DF8131) off ebay (for my Kodak Monitor 620, easier to have on than the other L-bracket I have), a Leofoto VD-03 monopod feet for when I want to go out & not take my tripod, and a JJC RM-E7 ir remote for my Pentax MZS

The very last thing is a black Nikkormat FTN (2nd version) with a silver accessory shoe, a 24/2.8 'K' Nikkor and a Vivitar 252 flash.

Well, finally got there. Just ordered a Minox B from eBay, four (expensive) preloaded cassettes of "Spy Film" from Blue Moon Camera (two each of what appears to be Delta 100 and Delta 400), and a Minox developing tank still in original box/packaging from eBay. Still need to get a film slitter (ideally one that will slit120 into six strips and discard the edge markings) and some way to fill a D90 frame with a Minox negative (and eventually a way to enlarge the tiny negatives, too).

And last night, I grabbed a 2-pack of 50-exposure Minox films (ASA 50 expired 1966, in the tin case) from eBay for $20 including shipping. That'll be a convenient size for me, since I plan to slit from 120 and full 120 length is just about exactly what I need for 50 exposures of Minox plus head and tail. I don't know for certain whether my Minox Daylight Tank will accept 50 exposure rolls (I've read that some do and some don't), but if not I can get a couple Minox reels to fit my Paterson.

Got a Tamron SP 17-35mm f2.8-4 (model A05) for my Pentax MZ-S, glass & body is clean & AF works. Getting a lens hood for it 3d printed from my local library, should be getting it soon (dont feel like paying $20+ bucks for a lens hood)

The cable release I have is starting to crap out on me, ended up getting a new one but the plunger is a smidge to short to trigger the shutter on my Kodak Monitor 620 😮‍💨

Bought some 5x7 dbl wt paper. The tariff thing is going to really screw up distribution of anything coming in to the USA.

A carbon fiber tripod, so I can retire my 20+ year old manfrotto, and perhaps increase my quality of life when hiking. As well as some dry ferric oxalate and silver nitrate.

Ordered a slitter to make 120 into six 50-shot Minox strips. That'll make it MUCH more economical to use my new-to-me Minox B.

Ended up getting a Gepe shutter release from Freestyle Photo (this one: https://www.freestylephoto.com/6020...loth-Covered-T-Lock-with-Rotating-Tip-20-inch), which was $8 bucks cheaper than B&H ($30).

(B&H the last couple years have had so many items that are on backorder/special order/expected in xyz days/weeks 😒)
