I have a bunch in different sizes. They work great protecting LF lenses that get thrown in the camera bag. 35mm/Medium Format I don't use wraps because I just stack lenses, so the only points of contact are a rear lens cap sitting on a front lens cap. LF lenses are too irregularly shaped (especially when on a lens board.

My latest purchases were a 355mm Kern Dagor last month and a 250mm Imagon this month.

That’s exactly why I picked em up! I’m waiting on two lenses from SK Grimes, and even though they custom made some front & rear lens caps for each lens, I’d still like to protect them when they’re in my camera bag. Heard only good things about these wraps, so I’m looking forward to receiving them!

The last item I bought was a 25mm ƒ/4 Snapshot Skopar lens in Leica thread mount. It is a handy little lens with contrasty color.

So… I might’ve sorta kinda bought 1200 feet of Tmax 400 on eBay today… I really hope that I can sell some of that to you guys because I have zero need for 1200 feet… Why am I like this?

I recently purchased a Canon R6 Mk II as my trusty Canon 5D Mk III died a sad death. I really didn't want to upgrade but the 5D stopped reliably recording to my flash drive or hard drive (tethered)

After much frustration, I decided to just buy the BookletCreator application. Great for formatting PDF files into print ready signatures.

Welcome aboard! How do these compare for you? The R6 is conceptually different; I wonder how you reflect on the difference. I'm used to Canon SLR's so the 5D is more familiar to me. I wonder how the R series feels to someone who has switched over (recently).

My biggest hold up is the lack of "cah-thunk" from the mirror rising and falling during shooting. I've been in the 5D line since ~2007 (which isn't too long in terms of SLRs existing), so just the sensory/tactile experience being a bit different throws me off significantly. I do find that using mirrorless (only had it a few weeks with minimal photos taken) has caused me to pay less attention to settings and just focusing on the image in the view finder. In some cases this allows for more spontaneity and capture my kids easily when the preview looks good. Other times I fall into the "oops the shutter speed was too slow and I wasn't paying attention" pitfall.

My main photographic pursuit is working with dancers; because timing is so important so you get the height of the leap just right, I was always hesitant to move to a new camera body as I didn't want to mess up the timing of my trigger finger. I did a test shoot with a young dancer shortly after getting the camera and am happy to say that the trigger timing didn't end up being an issue at all.

4x5 Arista Ultra 200, which apparently is Fomapan 200 in disguise... Was heaps cheaper than buying Fomapan 200 from Fotoimpex and having it shipped over here!

I've been busy with work so I haven't made much progress, but after developing one roll I realized that the film base was a little thin. When I measured it after developing it was 0.107mm.
I had been requested to shoot using an infrared filter, but I don't have one myself and neither do my friends, so I haven't been able to try it yet.

An adaptor to sit between my Fuji X-T5 and my Mamiya 645 lenses. €25. A bargain.

Besides the "What's new" aspect, these assemblages of things serve me as a snapshot of what was on my mind at a specific point in time. Sometimes I look at previous ones and wonder what on earth possessed me.

Tomlov handheld digital microscope was a lucky thrift store find $5 USD. Thrift stores in my area are very popular and prices can be high. For me, they're mostly a form of free entertainment, and I usually walk out empty-handed. From time to time, I find both film and digital cameras, but to date, nothing that I really want.

Didn't particularly want to add a grip to the Nikon Zfc: I really wanted an L-plate, but this one was the closest thing I could find, with threading to allow installation of a vertical Arca-type plate. Camera sans grip feels fine to me, so unless I anticipate using the camera on a tripod, I leave the grip behind.

Today I went to a local camera store that had a few Plaubel 6,5x9 sheet film holders in stock. Picked up 4 of them.

Also left there with a modified Mamiya-Sekor 65mm f/3.5 that was taken from a Mamiya TLR camera and installed into a Copal Press #0 shutter. Sadly, it doesn’t cover 2x3 format, but they only wanted $20 for it, so I couldn’t pass that up.

Picked up 3 rolls of Kodak HIE Infrared 35mm at a garage sale. The film was from the 1980s and had 20 exposures. Couldn't pass it up. I have loaded one roll in to my F1N so tomorrow I am off to see if it is still any good.

I loved 20 exposure rolls!! Good luck!

Rolleinar 1 + 2 complete sets with 2 lenses, Rolleiparkeil and a bakelite box each for my Rolleicord Vb.
