I tried it once because I need to do something else and was able to start the film, go do my other 45 min. chore and return. I discovered the sparkle it gave in highlights without having the real high contrast harshness.
 
I honestly don't understand stand development but that must just be me. HP5+ develops quickly in normal developers so it isn't like you're wasting much time! I'd rather see the pictures in 20 minutes than an hour and a quarter. I suppose most people are using stand development for highlights and contrast but I like HP5+ using normal development with DD-X, Microphen or HC-110.

I've been shooting some 120 Fuji Reala which is my favourite general purpose colour neg film.
 
Been shooting Fuji Velvia 100 but just started a roll of Neopan 400 today as my first ever roll of b&w film.
 
Half a roll or so (24 exposures of 126 worth from 36 exposures of 135) of General Photo Surv 400 Unperforated Superpanchromatic loaded into a 126 cartridge, shot in my Kodak Instamatic 500 and souped in HC-110 1+31 8:00 @20C. Maco says dev times for Rollei Retro 400S but.I've emailed them to ask if it really is RR400S (which is made by Agfa in Belgium) or what it is. Looks good,no edge marks or perfs which is perfect for my 126 reloads and the 35mm cassettes are reloaders too so I can use them for something else.

WOW your results are terrific! I was plannibg to try some of this film and I will for sure now. I have used the CMS 20 in Rodinal with great results too.

+1, i like that result. I bought those films but i don't have Rodinal at all :sad: so i hope with whatever developer i will use i will have a great result too.

I was sorting some of my film for processing today. I dumped it all out on the couch-bed, and my oldest cat climbed head first into the empty bag and just laid down in there with her face against the plastic for a good 20 minutes while I sorted the film. She was asking for a picture, so I got one with my computer. 30 seconds later, she wiggled her way out. I swear this cat is a genius.....

That is her in the top right corner of the pic.

This week I've had my Duaflex and K1000 with me. I shot a roll of 127 in the Duaflex and a roll of 120...and 35mm in the K1000. Oh...and last week I shot a roll of 127 in the Brownie Holiday. Next week? A roll of 120 in my Brownie 2A...and 35 mm...not to mention testing out my pinhole cameras - but that's paper.
 
Holy crap 2F, that is a serious backlog! I don't think I've ever had more than 30 rolls piled up and that was after a holiday. Are you shooting commercially or just playing like the rest of us?

CHS25, CHS50 and Fomapan 200 today - a day of playing in some ruins and drains so a chance to test. Plus some TMY2 'cos one of the buildings was *dark*. I've souped one of the Fomapan rolls in xtol 1+1 and it is very very grainy. Fine, tight grain, but of large amplitude (exposed at EI125 and souped for EI200 time, it's a bit overcooked), the sort of result you expect with Rodinal, but such a beautiful density curve. EI125 was perhaps a little too fast as well, which is annoying.

Edit: don't squeegee the fomapan. I always squeegee and have had no scratches in a couple hundred rolls... but not any more.

P.S. Cats are either geniuses as you say, or just so batty crazy nuts that its hard for us to tell that the random voices in their head are telling them to do something or if they have any grey matter running at all. Fine line between genius and insanity, right?
 
Tri-X 400/120 in Pyrocat-HD two bath
FP4/120 & 13x18 cm @ 100 ASA in Pyrocat-HD single bath
FP4/135-36 @ +/- 100 ASA in Refinal cons. testing my new NikonF Photomic T
 
FP4 in PCAT is an amazing combination!
 
Two rolls of Kodak T-Max 100 and one of Ilford FP4+ in my Mamiya RB67 Pro S. I am preferring FP4+, I think preferring it to Delta 100 as well so I think I'll be settling on that. All souped in HC-110 1+31.

And a May 1966 expired roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan 126 in my Kodak Instamatic X-15F (I snipped the finger off my 500 so I couldn't use it). I used to shoot VP 126 in my Instamatic a long time ago so it was fun to shoot some again. I souped it along with the FP4+ for 9:00 @20C and it turned out! Hard to believe, film probably made in 1963 and it still worked.

Why do I shoot VP? I still like the look. I need to see how I can make FP4+ look like it.
 
Just started a new roll of Ektar in a T90.

Let me know if you think the white pigment bleeds out a bit with over-exposure. I've just ordered a few more rolls of Ektar after a good test roll.
