I brought back my films yesterday from the lab and those are what i saw:

1 B&W was blank, nothing there, too bad i paid for it and got nothing, i can't remember this film i was using it or my kids, but i think maybe it is one of my kids films used on the Holga maybe and i stored in the fridge for almost 4-5 months ago, not a big deal for me except i wish if i developed it myself rather than pay for the lab.

2 slides were amazing, love the color and they did a great job.

1 color neg, it seems it is also great processed, but without scanning i can notice that there is light leaking on the roll, i really don't know how did that happened, but later if i have time i will see if there is any light leaking or not, it was a test roll at the end and would like to see the result more than the shots themselves.

I would like to shoot films later but i am really not sure what to shoot in my area, i shoot same things over and over again maybe millions times and nothing interesting on them, so i don't know if i keep doing test shots or shoot whatever.

First roll bulk loaded of Kodak Gen 2 (Portra 160NC) unperforated, loaded into 126 cartridge and shot in the Kodak Instamatic 500. Color looks good though I have some spots that make me think my Tetenal blix is exhausted.

Haven't shot much lately, but I did use a roll of Ektachrome 400x over the last few weeks. Also shot half a roll of Superia 1600 yesterday, and finished up a Kodak disposable camera as well. There's also a roll of Superia 200 being processed.

i just souped some more ilford rc paper ( i rolled my self on a film spool ),
and while i didn't shoot it i also souped kodak 116 film that was left in a box camera given to me last summer...
luckily i was able to leave the light on in both instances to see
how things were looking ...
i got some nice negatives on both

Loaded my Fuji folder with TMY 400 a few days ago--will probably do some museum shooting tomorrow. Put a roll of Legacy 100 in my M3 to test out my new (to me) 90 Elmar which came in the mail yesterday. Will probably take that with me tomorrow as well.

Delta 3200 120 in the Yashicaflex though it seems I should have wound once more before opening the back as the paper wasn't completely tight on the end :-S I think the leader is long enough and I opened the back in subdued light but 3200 (1000 ISO) is pretty fast so I hope I didn't fog the last shot(s) Will soup it soon to find out.

And a roll of Fuji Superia 800 135-24 in the EOS 1N RS which I'll soup in the Tetenal which I hope is still OK. Last roll had some red spots but I'm hoping either my presoak or wash waters were too hot, not that the blix is bad. Again, I hope to find out soon when I soup it, maybe today.

Taking the paper off the roll I found there is, as always, lots of paper at the end of the roll so the Delta 3200 came out great, no fogging! DD-X 1+4 for 12:00, will be nice to see how the 120 prints compared to 135, should be much less grainy.

Now to see if my Tetenal is still working on the Superia...

I tried my first roll of FP4 yesterday. I used Rodinal 1+100 1hr stand and I really like it.
Bronica ETRS, 75mm f/2.8

FP4+ is a favorite of mine as well. Just got a pro-pack in case prices actually do rise (haven't seen them go up yet at B&H).

Souped my Superia 800 and it looks good! So, I loaded another strip off the Kodak Gen 2 S-016 (Portra 160NC) 100' roll into my 126 cartridge, shot it through the Kodak Instamatic 500 and souped it already to see if my problem was actually just too hot water or if the Gen 2 is bad somehow. Drying now, will inspect soon...

I'm going to spam every thread with an endorsement of the new Portra 400. I shot it in 35mm and found it to have better grain than the excellent old Portra. No problem pushing it to 800 either, even with normal processing.

I also just shot and developed a roll of the sadly discontinued Fuji Neopan 400 in 120. What a great film.

Souped my last roll of Neopan 400 in 120 today, it was my standard film for the last years along with acros.

Need something to replace it with. Checked my freezer, I thought I had about 50 rolls left - but no.

Lots to choose from still at least I guess but are any the same, I don't know? Delta 400, HP5+, Tri-X, T-Max 400 from the bigger names, several from the smaller names too.

Just got my first roll of Ektar 100 back.

Surprisingly good. I'll definitely use it again. Don't over-expose it, like some folks suggest (i.e. don't shoot it at 65) because it tends to bleed colors out with over exposure. When doing this, however, it "seems" there is more detail -- but this looks like (subjectively) the details only show up with the loss of saturation in dark blues and the like.

Excellent shadows, light/dark areas all on the same photo show up nicely, etc.

Some test photos from my Fuji Reala 100 and my recent Ektar 100 rolls:

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Another roll of Delta 3200 in the Yashicaflex. For candid shooting I'm finding it much better than a noisy SLR. I just get one candid shot with the SLR but I can get 5 with the TLR's quiet leaf shutter.

I shot a roll of HP5 on Sunday and tried processing it in Rodinal 1+100 for 1 hr stand development. I was a bit disappointed. It was very flat looking. The Hp5 I have used in the past impressed me. I think...the stand development may have had something to do with it.

I honestly don't understand stand development but that must just be me. HP5+ develops quickly in normal developers so it isn't like you're wasting much time! I'd rather see the pictures in 20 minutes than an hour and a quarter. I suppose most people are using stand development for highlights and contrast but I like HP5+ using normal development with DD-X, Microphen or HC-110.
