Leader density for the above experiment was 1.09, which is substantially less than it was even at 10 mins in the properly prepared quercetin solution, never mind the correct pH.
Thanks, I think it is worth a try. On the weekend I may get time for another experiment (I did this one on Sunday). The development time looks promising, even if I made a bit of a mess of it.
I should have said that the development time was encouraging because Alan's testing with quercetin and Metol showed it to be slow. It means that even at this pH we were almost certainly seeing superadditivity.
