Leader density for the above experiment was 1.09, which is substantially less than it was even at 10 mins in the properly prepared quercetin solution, never mind the correct pH.
Thanks, I think it is worth a try. On the weekend I may get time for another experiment (I did this one on Sunday). The development time looks promising, even if I made a bit of a mess of it.Is it worth trying to dissolve the quercetin in ethanol [Vodka] or isopropanol, then diluting with water?
You can always increase development speed by either increasing alkalinity or by adding a solvent. Excessive fog is the only limit.
