Did you focus on the church tower through the ground glass or just set infinity or ??

So, that is the way you framed it when shot and not a crop after the fact?
Very good for sure.

Hi there - I recently acquired an earlier Makina II along with a 120 back and plate holders - it's been lovely so far. Unfortunately my copy did not come with a ground glass back.
I'd love to use the Makina as a smaller alternative to my Speed Graphic and also more critically check focus at times - but haven't had any luck tracking one down on its own. Can't imagine they're too common or affordable in the USA.
Does anyone know if any third party/non-Plaubel branded 6.5x9 ground glass backs are compatible/mount correctly on the back of a Makina II? Has anyone tried a Voigtlander/Kodak/Zeiss Ikon back on their Makina? Those all seem much easier to source.
Thanks.
