Selling one of my Kodak Ektra bodies as I have three and do not need that many. Body only, no lens.

This camera is in good condition for it's age. No major issues. Cosmetically, it has some scratches and some areas where the chrome is bubbling on the top cover, but this has no impact on functionality. Rangefinder has a few small black specs in it. Viewfinder may have minimal dust.

Varifocal viewfinder works properly. Rangefinder works properly with lenses of all focal lengths and is adjustable via diopter. Frame counter works properly. Self timer works properly. Fine focusing knob and internal focusing mount rotate with minimal resistance. Magazine back functions properly and is serial number matched to the body.

Camera was overhauled by me approximately four years ago. Has been my most used Ektra body since. Shutter ribbons and curtains were replaced with new material from Nobbysparrow on eBay. Shutter speeds were tested prior to listing, and are reflected in the table below. Tolerances are pulled from the 1943 Kodak Ektra repair manual.

Everything I've ever read about the Ektra starts with the statement that the shutter is terribly prone to failure. What is the weak point with the shutter? Is the problem the materials used originally? Or is it a design flaw? (or both?)
