I'm not sure it could be cancelled here, not sure about mail order, but it's my understanding that in a physical store, if there is a price marked on the item (that isn't adulterated), and the customer is prepared to buy it, it must be sold at that price.
There are occasional deals to be had after markdown sales, for example, on stuff that missed getting repriced.
I'm confused. Are we saying this item was a lens shade and the OP isn't owning up to making a mistake or are we saying it was a KEH ruse to get people looking at their site.
He might have ordered the item I linked to in the belief it being the actual camera.
I am saying that the item he got billed was a lens hood.
How it came to it we don't know. He might have ordered the item I linked to in the belief it being the actual camera.
At least I was fooled by that page today.
As Brian indicated the case might be more complicated. But that would likely involve several errors to have been made.
Not true. The courts have held that if a store makes an error they can cancel the sale. The baseball card case is a classic example of this.

It's not likely that KEH will sue but the ethical thing to do is to contact KEH and let them know that they may have made an error. If they say yes it was an error then negotiate a new price or send the camera back for a refund of what you paid.
A few years back a well known Leica dealer sold me a Leica If for around $450 or so. I thought it would be a red dial but it turned out that they had sold me a black dial If worth $800+. I contacted the dealer and told him I thought he made an error. Indeed he had. We worked out a mutually satisfactory deal. He sent me a much better condition If red dial and I sent the black dial If back to him.

I didn't even have time to think, because I bought it so quick. Never again will I be able to buy this camera for $22 haha
I've bought enough stuff from KEH to keep my camera karma at rest haha
I just read all 6 pages of this thread, for the entertainment factor.
Thank you everyone!
So, to sum up, the OP mistakenly bought a lens hood instead of a camera?
And he liked it so much he's been out shooting flareless images for 3.5 straight weeks since he last logged in to APUG.
Its not nice to make fun of people's mistakes. But this is pretty funny.
Personally I would have contacted them if it really was a camera and asked if that was the correct price or not. I don't like it when someone takes advantage of one of my mistakes and I wouldn't do the same to someone else. It's just not right imho.
