I just stole a Fuji GS645S from KEH...

It seems I have it fixed due to some great recommendations from a few APUG members. There's a little pin at 12:00 o'clock just inside the dome. I worked in in and out about 30-50 times and it started working properly and within 1/4 stop of my Luna Pro SBC that was just CLA'd by George at Quality Light Metric so, happy camper tonight.

I put that link up just because on the item code it showed the camera name. And only that. I saw the buttons above too, but did not recognize them as a chain of links.

Yes, triggered by Brian I followed that chain and indeed it brings one to lens Hoods: items that themselves are only designated with the camera name, not "Hood - type of camera"

Good I never considered buying at KEH.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame KEH, AgX (if that's what you may have meant by writing that you never considered buying at KEH). I agree with you that it could have and should have been a better labeled offering. My preference would be to identify the item exaclty as you stated. But once we see the actual page it is clear what the item really is. One just needs to real thoroughly and understand what they are reading.

I did not consider buying at KEH as their praised return policy did not apply to international shipments. (Aside of the hassle one experiences with german costums even at plain importing without returning items.)

As at KEH lens hoods are designated just by the camera name and that item number leads to an item listed under camera hoods, the case is plausible to me. To say at least.
