Berri,I like being whined and dined.
I would never have said that. You learn something everyday.Berri,
There is a difference between whine and wine.
CTRL+F5 keys in Firefox should do it.Shop is blank page for me.
Having seen the price and carriage (plus the small but additional cost of using a £ credit card in euros), and after all the aggro and hassle which has come from some posters on here when legitimate concerns have been put forward, I find that the whole thing has left a sour taste to the extent that I've lost interest in the whole project. I'll order my B&W from Ilford, it's served me well since the days of HP3.
All sad, but a lesson learned.
Tried that and 4 other browsers on my PC and two on my phone. I was able to watch the video and see the whole web site, but not the shop.CTRL+F5 keys in Firefox should do it.
Sheesh, I step away from APUG for a few days, and come back to so much negativity.
On the lighter side, SWMBO made venison and noodles from a leftover roast that she made yesterday. After supper I told her I was stuffed and it was all her fault! To her credit, she is an amazing cook.
I do IT for a living, and have recently adopted the theory of pi when estimating how long something will take. What's the theory of pi? Come up with your best estimate of how long something will take, then multiply by pi, and you'll be close to how long it'll really take. And then if you get it done sooner, in true Scotty fashion, you'll look like a miracle worker.
Didn't he (in one of the movies) also say to double the time estimate? LOL.Ah yes, but to quote Scotty "the more complex you make the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain"!PE
I've refrained from commenting on the extraordinary entitled complaining in this thread. However, that succinct dagger was too good to let go by. Bravo!I see you've learned a lot from your new president.
Strange, I can see it just fine and I didn't use Ctrl+F5 at all. Maybe clear your cache and cookies? The website makes a big deal about how they use cookies.
A simple but very wise principle. Good luck getting that across to some of the folk on this forum. Some of us have tried giving similar advice, and have only been responded to with hostility and false accusations.I do IT for a living, and have recently adopted the theory of pi when estimating how long something will take. I too like this, not least because IIRC pi is an "imaginary" number.I do IT for a living, and have recently adopted the theory of pi when estimating how long something will take. Other than that, I'll also await the new Ektachrome, though I have sufficient of the old Ektachrome (plus Fuji and Precisa) to last me a few years. All sad, but a lesson learned.
Hardly off the ground and they've succeeded admirably in alienating some of their most loyal and enthusiastic supporters.Well done, Film Ferrania. I'm also leaving. I sincerely wish you all the best. If you should learn from past mistakes, and become the success story we've all dreamed of for the past couple of years, I'll be overjoyed. If not, it will be a tragedy and a most unfair and undeserved fate to befall the guys in Italy who have been working so tirelessly at something they truly love. I can only hope that they get the kind of management with the leadership qualities they so desperately need.Something like that ... Ilford and the rest are good enough ... I wish them success still. The one I`d like to actually see would be the C41 Solaris. Time will tell ...
