It's not you, it's me. I could open them fine with my phone. You have several examples that look very well exposed and developed... Perhaps Pyrocat-HD isn't a good candidate for this film. Cheers!
I tried it with the Roba Apposta kit and unfortunately it came out almost completely black. It was my only failure, I used the kit with various other films with great results.

As a Kickstarter contributor, it would be really nice to even be offered an opportunity to actually try this film !
Ferrania have promised free (B&W) film for contributors, then a price reduction, then nothing for months. I'm not demanding anything for nothing, but would just like normal business-like
courtesy and communication ?
Ferreania just don't care any more....it all seems to have now become a bit of a con, IMHO. At least plenty of quality, established. films are still readily available, usually at lower prices, and these also don't need hours of experimention to get a usable result.

I'm also a Kickstarter contributor and feel like they've done a pretty solid job explaining the whole thing, offering early access to contributors to the Alpha release (how I got it), and now giving store credit to people. You can't please everybody. Frankly most Kickstarter projects I have backed turned into nothing but these guys have worked hard to actually get something off the ground. You are entitled to feel how you like about it, but for my part I'm cool with them and I liked the film.
Ferrania P30 is impossible to buy in Italy. Nobody carries it.

Many companies have been affected, but many have adapted. Others (who have also had the same six months to adapt) still use "Coronavirus" as an excuse for their own inefficiency. (I'm not appying this to Ferrania, just observing.)
Apparently it's a silver rich film. Guessing it needed longer first development to clear the halides that were not developed. .
More than underdeveloped I think it was underexposed, as I did lengthen the first dev quite a bit. IIRC I did it a EI80 but probably around 16 or 25 would have been better. I only discovered afterwards that, for example, the recommended dr5 iso is 16. But then I had no more film to play with! I can dig the results and my notes if anybody is interested.
Edited to add: I think this film would make a terrific super8 low speed fine grain reversal, I hope to get it in this format one day.

Nope, since those are dr5.com claims and I have not been able to verify them by eye.

By what process? To tell us that gives the world useful information. Where as sweeping generalities do not.
Which films not designed for reversal, if any, gave you good results?
The process is the Foma reversal kit, the only chemistry I use because it's cheap, very long lasting and reliable.
Only films designed to be reversed gave excellent results: namely Foma R 100, Adox Scala 160 and Adox Scala 50.
Other films gave only acceptable results (all regular Fomas - which dr5.com can't reverse at all, Rollei Retro 80, Rollei Superpan 200), some gave unacceptable results (all Ilfords, Rollei Retro 100 tonal, Agfa Apx 100).

Thanks for the information. It is good to know because I have a Foma kit on my shelf I've been waiting to try out. It looks like film and process have to be matched.
Sure the kit is optimized for Foma R 100, following it to the letter you'll have fantastic slides. Even after opened for 4 years the kit still works! It's unbelievable.
The same applies to Adox Scala 160 (although an Adox reversal kit is on the way - see here https://scontent-mxp1-1.xx.fbcdn.ne...=ef971ad6066041feba1c657cb7350a7d&oe=5FB71E96).
