I read a 6 year old thread on some experiment with ortho film? There would be no point in me commenting. I believe I'll stick with my Fuji HRT green X ray film and Rodinal 1;100. i can go out and shoot that and end up with pictures every bit as good as crazy-expensive Pan film to where you couldn't hardly tell any difference.

Hello F4U! I used some X-ray film in the past, the surface wasn't smooth and it had emulsion on both sides of the film, and it scratched very easily. I ended up washing away one side of the emulsion with bleach to get a more clear image. Is that Fuji HRT like that also? Do you do anything special? Thanks.

Welcome aboard @AtlantaArist.
First of all, @F4U has a bit of a point in that responding to an old thread without adding anything new of substance is a bit...well, redundant. Feel free to revive old threads, but please do so if there's new material to add to it.

As to @grainyvision: they have drifted in and out of the community for a bit, I think, but have been off the radar from some time. Yes, I hope they'll return one day.

As to the question about x-ray film: I'd encourage you to start a new thread on this, as the present thread really is about something else. In general, I recognize your issues with x-ray film (the double-sided stuff) and I believe HRT is indeed also double sided. You may be able to find some single-sided x-ray film; the film intended specifically for mammography work is often/usually single-sided. However, it's much harder to find than the double-sided film and generally more expensive.
