No, I don't think so. Mind you I only had the pro SD so I can't say whether previous RBs might require some adapter. I don't think so; I think they all have pretty much the same graflok attachment on the film side of the rotating adapter.
Sounds cool. So you are making some sort of insert so that the film will be held reproducibly in the same spot? Or you could simply tape it down.
What lens are you looking for?
I like 6x8 a lot. I don't feel any need to justify that, I just like it. Yes, there are some technical advantages and disadvantages i.e. less cropping for some standard paper sizes, but... in the end everybody's artistic vision is individual (or should be). I mean, basing these things in what...
My offer in post #13 remains... ;)
Crown graphic. A full kit with lens should run you ~$300. Add film holders and you're in business. Later if you decide to get another camera with more movements and such, you'll still love your crown.
No problems, it's easy.
There are vast resources...
Yep, I agree that photography's share of the silver-related compounds dumped into the environment has gone down drastically, and maybe that is part of what's behind the low silver prices over the past few decades.
Anyway, I default to my original answer ;) Anthotype is green.
Regarding...
There's a lot more to the overall process, though, Ron. The film bases are a petrochemical product, and a lot of the world's silver is still mined in an environmentally damaging way or obtained through mining of other metals. There is no free lunch: the methods to obtain these materials are...
The greenest form of photography would be anthotype ;)
As Ron noted, the electronics industry as a whole (including the digital photography sector) is not at all green. Neither are the b&w, c41, nor E6 processes.
Oh sorry, just noticed that this was a question for colour. This opens up the possibility of doing an E6 enlargement, so there'd be no need for an interpositive- the slide would itself provide a suitable negative image for ra4 printing. I haven't done it but I think I'd try that. Something...
Sure, enlarge to ortho film. Just google "enlarged negatives." N.b, if you try to search for that using the APUG search engine, you won't get much; use google instead.
This is the rare and excellent convertible tele T* ED lens for LF in a copal 1 shutter. You'll get two interchangeable rear elements providing 360 and 720 mm. The main advantage of this lens is that you don't need long bellows draws.
I am no longer doing tele stuff by LF, and I am doing...
Indeed Fuji's EBC glass, in particular, is superlative.
This site might be helpful, especially since there are many Fuji offerings, even at the same focal length...

I am thinking of trying the following: wrap the film around a cardboard core, then wrap a foot or two of black paper around it and tape it so that it's really held firm. Cap the ends to prevent light leaks. Then use a saw or guillotine...
I have 5" roll film and have been thinking of...
JW, it really depends how much colour you shoot, in my opinion (and as photoncatcher implied).
My own take on this is that the price difference is really small, when you consider the benefits of the newer lens. Besides the advantages of being newer (remember these are all-mechanical lenses...
The snow will be gone, no worries there. But do bring good walking shoes and a packed lunch and drinks- you're in for a good hike. You'll very likely need to park a mile away or so. My advice would be to stay in Arlington and get shuttled.
P.S. Stop for lunch in the cafeteria of the museum of the native americans. Unfortunately, apart from that and the atrium of the building, there isn't much else there of note (as a Cherokee descendant I was hoping to learn a lot more there). That cafeteria rocks! Best food on the mall, bar...
I'll be going up on Friday and will be hanging out with the DC photoposse. No word yet on what we might do.

Photographically speaking, the mall is pretty blah to me unless...
An enlarged neg will not have the appearance of less grain unless the duping material itself has substantial grain. here's the reason: the grain in the original neg will be magnified in the process of going to the interpositive, and that grain will dominate the grain of a fine-grained duping...
I am not sure (with no examples to look at) but the issue you see may be more to do with contrast. Bear in mind that if you don't require creamy bokeh, then there are indeed contrastier lenses than can be found in the Hasselblad and Mamiya families.
My own assessment (which I am well aware...
Frankly, I really don't understand the advice that the creative obstacle needs to be machine gunned, rammed, pushed, just do it-ed etc. It all strikes me as machismo.
I was assuming, when I posted my suggestions, that the technical stuff was taken care of. If not, then yeah, push away, and...
