I have not shot slides in a long time, but 11 f/stops seems to be too large a range for slides.
For negative film both color and black & white under the right SBR conditions I have gotten 15 f/stops in the negative, but getting that many on the negative can be hard to get onto paper.
I have a freezer full of color and black & white film for three different formats. I am watching your testing and I will taking in your comments and results the next time I buy film.

I would need a circular polarizer to start with, but I am not aware of a circular polarizer that will attach to the back of the Nikon f/2.8 16mm Fisheye AF lens.
How do you adjust the polarizing filter if it is in the rear of the lens? I see that if you are not including the sky that a polarizing filter could be useful with a fisheye, however then one needs to be careful of taking photos of the tops of their shoes.
There is nothing wrong with Ilford's quality. You are just twisted out of shape because you had a few roll of 120 with paper problems. All the film manufactures had the same problem at the same time.
Especially when I was taking a lot of low light level and night photography, I would strive to buy the largest aperture lens I could afford in each focal length.
