Slide shows are a great way to show what was seen on a trip. Especially compared to having a 20 stone photo album places on ones lap.

What is wrong with 6x6 slides? Bausch & Lomb had a great slide projector that my father had for decades. It disappeared after his death. Maybe he took it with him.

I too prefer a 3 way head. I tested several ball heads and when set to be moveable they can be to floppy or just hard to control.

See BOLDED SECTION, PE recommended using stop bath to avoid cross contamination and other problems. Do a search on color development with PE's name.

A river has water in it as long as it is not a dried up river or an arroyo. Water does not need to be in a river.

Polarize only as needed and no more. I have seen that some friends were using the polarizer for everything and they had to learn to take the polarizer off. Not just off. Off most of the time.

I agree, but I have not needed to do that in the10+ years that I have owned the camera. I do not have the 120mm lens nor the 135mm lens with the variable tube or bellows which shows my need for close ups with the Hasselblad.

Some do not want to depend on batteries except for light meters. I prefer that for my Hasselblad with 120 film most of the time, but I use Nikon AF SLRs which use batteries when I choose to use 35mm film.

But are they getting any better.

Always use the Hasselblad finder and the bubble. I also can use the adapter with a viewfinder attached to the back, but I have never needed it.

Clip on the thread lens caps can be used instead of screw on caps.
