Chilling the camera would reduce the diameter of the filter ring and lens, but hopefully because the filter ring is metal, it will shrink faster.

I too lost interest in the H cameras and the digital backs years ago when it became obvious that the there was not going to be 6x6 digital backs and I started learning about the parts and servicing problems with the H cameras. So we are on the same page there.

When a digital or 645 film back are placed on a Hasselblad, the Hasselblad is being used as the 645 camera, regardless of your opinion.

I have the Sekonic L308S which has a reflectance meter, incident meter and flash meter. I had a Gossen SBC Luna Pro which allows for Zone System metering adjustments and had reflectance and incident readings and attachments for 10°, 5° and 1° spot meter readings.

My experience is that if the counter is not properly locked on '1' for any reason, the counter will not increment. I have had this problem on one back that starts with '0' and one that starts with ' '.

I tend to avoid cases that only hold a few filters; I like holders of 10 or more if possible.

The label is a great idea. I did that for years until it had some filters in the stack bind together, and while the plastic filter wrenches solved the problem I would rather just avoid it especially with 67mm, 77mm or 95mm filters.

If I am using black & white film, I may have the following filters: UV Polarizer Yellow Orange Red IR filter Green That means a lot of the plastic cases that do not stay together and slide around in a camera bag pocket or in the camera bag. That means that they are not an any particular order...

That has never been a problem using those or similar filter wrenches when I have used them. It is a solution for a real problem.
