Need some help with the Metz CL-45 CT1

Well first, thank you very much. I cleaned the contacts and bent the pins "Upwards" to make a more secure connection and that gave me the charge once I was able to see the manual and tell where the batteries needed to be placed. Now I have the hotshoe to flash cord, the correct one, but I'm...

    Help with Family portrait

Ditto on finding a window but if you or your sister have a plain white sheet that can reflect some light as well. I happen to think a personal gift like this is the best kind of holiday gift.

Polaroid 600 SE 4x5 Film Back?

True you will not get a full frame from the 4x5 back, however you will get a large part of it. I would never try the ebay route for these as it is pretty well known that these are poorly put togeather and generally always have light leaks. Tony is a engineer and machine makes these from scratch...

Need some help with the Metz CL-45 CT1

Thank you for looking. My eyes are old. I'm not fond of flash but I need to pull out my flash (above ref) for something. Now, I'll be using "AA" as I do not have a Nicd battery for it, but I can't seem to get the right battery (6 of them) configuration. When looking at the + and = symbols at...

My Jobo's are on their last legs

I for one, wish you the very best of luck. I would only warn of one thing, be careful using a jobo trained tech understanding he no doubt has IP agreements with Jobo as well as infrindging on Jobo's patent as well. OF course I'm not saying this is or will be the case, so do not read into...

    Can't id this X-rite 328 Densitometer....

It's looking like this may be a color Profiler for Icc profiles. I'm finding items that are close but not the 328. If it is what I'm thinking, it's very expensive but I may be able to use it for making my own profiles for film to scanner to digi printing on an epson. Lot's of homework to do here.

    Can't id this X-rite 328 Densitometer....

Good day. I have this Color Densitometer that I'd like to sell but I can't find any info on it that would give me an idea of what a fair price would be. I've searched and spent a lot of google time, but no good. I'll never use it so it should go to someone that will. Any ideas please? Thank...

Polaroid 600 SE 4x5 Film Back?

Tony Sansome is going to begin making these in the beginning of the year. Mine's on order. This camera is so flexiable it's not even funny. Instant film, 6x6,6x7,6x9, and 4x5. Tonys rep is spot on and I've already purchased a few things from him.

My Jobo's are on their last legs

I'm sad to say your message today strikes home. I am noticing quite a bit of the change we have had, no matter in U.S. / Canada / or abroad, that seems to scream "here's your price, take it or leave it" as well as "what are you going to do, just pay it and move on" It's in our govt', almost...

Well, ok Bob. Then please keep me in mind..... Bob States "Is this the fate of all automated analog cameras as well?" No, it will be the newer digi's that go WAY before the analog bodies.

Hi Bob. I'm sure we've talked before. I have the ALT2300 and I'm very technical. (Engineer) Would you like to chat off line and figure out what's wrong and see if we can fix her? I know it's much much too expensive to ship for repair but we may be able to talk about it (email etc) and figure it...

Cheap Fuji Pro800Z in the UK

I wrote them and asked about shipping to the U.S. No response. Wanna do something cool? If you have a need for films that are here in the U.S. and since I have a need for Fuji 400CN which I can't get here, want to work out a mutually benefited trade program? Really dying to get some more of...

Yup. I use craigslist only because I like touchy feeling. I've found great deals this way and I don't have to be wondering about the ebay sellers idea of "Mint" because ebay has been one big poo poo Pot lately.

Doesn't sound like much at all. Looks like they will be moving with digital but that's not even clear. They mention technology and optical.. could be anything. Very confusing press release, poorly done.

Who can Cut Film from a large roll.

Hi Keith, I have a Matte cutter (Logan) that I had purchased from Michaels... I wonder if that would work???? Good idea. I could set the matte cutter before lights out to the size I want for the "landscape" i.e., 3 1/4" and then get everything light-tight and reset the cutter for 4 1/4"...
