I bought an Iron Maiden today.

Give yourself extra credit is you know camera what that is.
My son has take an interest in film photography---he's been borrowing my trusty Nikon F2.
His birthday is coming up so I figure it's high time he has his very own 35mm SLR.
I just returned from the local camera store with his soon to be "Iron Maiden" Pentax K1000 with a 50mm f/2 lens
It was cheaper than any I'd found on Craig's List and comes with a 30 day guarantee. Not only that I didn't have to spend the day prowling through the pawn shops down town either.
I used to have my own Iron Maiden before the Nikon F2 came aboard but sadly that one was stolen by some hooligan

so I replaced it with the F2

A second Berning Robot II camera. Again with a Schneider-Kreuznach 7,5cm f/3.8 Tele-Xenar.
required some repairs of the spring motor ratchet, but she's back in action. Currently on my desk loaded with fomapan.

My cousin gave me a pair of Olympus Infinity Stylus cameras the other day. One still has film in it and that includes a photo of a largemouth bass I had caught about 20 years ago.

Olympus Pen S 3.5, the best Olympus camera i've had. Had one, sold it, regretted it, now i've just bought another one in good shape!

I've owned the Minox 35GT, Rollei 35 (made in germany), and this Olympus, and the Olympus is the camera i prefer the most.

A friend gave me his father-in-law's old Rebel S. Put a wrist strap on it and it'd make a nice home for the 40mm f/2.8 pancake.

Last week I got this Spotmatic II from a fellow APUG member. Can't wait to put a roll through it. It's been sent to Eric Hendrickson.

A Spottie is always a Spottie! Even if I prefer the F model because it allows open metering.

This thread has been so popular, the old one is broken, so let's start a new one.

What's your latest new old camera?

A 1937 Kodak Retina II. I'm running a roll of film through it right now. The rangefinder is a little off, setting the lens short. We'll see what happens.

I got me a Minolta Hi-Matic S2 for $10. It's in the mail right now. I don't know anything about any of the Hi-matic cameras, so can anyone tell me what this is? It seems the 7s-II is the most popular model of the Hi-Matic series?
