From Ebay: Nikon F black # 7058253 (Nov 1969) with Photomic FTN (working light meter) and a NIKKOR-N Auto 24mm 1:2.8 non ai Nippon Kogaku from the same period.

Can't wait to receive this camera and start using it. It is (almost) as old as I am.

Great machine! How much did it cost?

I own a Nikon F in black color as well, with the plain prism which is cute. That Nikkor-N looks really nice as well.
Is the light meter correctly calibrated? I had a Nikon F Photomic TN which was not linear anymore. The CdS cells were the fault, so no recalibration was possible.

Won myself a Minolta xk with viewfinder off ebay for a bit over $130.

I am waiting to find that camera here, so I can own my first Minolta!

Hi,
I paid Euro 150 for the camera. I don't know if the light meter is calibrated yet, since the camera is in the mail.
I'll receive it probably on Monday.
I have an old 28 mm lens, but this 24 mm lens is a nice addition to this camera.
I can't wait to load & shoot this camera.

Fujika Ax5 with 50 mm f1.2.

It came with a small system (50 mm f1.6, 28 mm f2.8 and a zoom), not in good conditions but still working...and I needed a X platform for the big piece of glass.

I regularly shoot a Canon EOS 3, but walking by one of Porto's antique camera shops saw this lady and just couldn't help myself so I bought it =P

My first rangefinder, a Yashica Electro 35 GTN.

Beautiful! I owned an Electro 35 GSN and I miss having sold it. It was a pleasure to use: reliable auto-exposure, nice lens, nice viewfinder. If mine had been a BLACK model, i would have kept it !! Black is beautiful...

I just borrowed an Electro 35 to try it out. But this black is even more beautiful.

Thanks guys!!

Just loaded a roll of HP5+ 400.

This example seems to be in a very good shape, some small scuff marks but nothing that I can really call a dent.

Added a cable release because I like tripod work and long exposures.

I was able to get a battery adapter made, if the light meter is accurate and the images are clean I'll be extremely happy.

And since you guys seem to like it I'll leave a phew more images

A black Mamiya Auto X1000. I hope it can be brought back to usable life. It can keep my Auto XTL company.

That Nikon cake is too cute. It even has the red style point.

Speaking of Nikon, I just bought a couple of Nikon outfits from the Goodwill site. Bought a N80 with 28-105 AF-D lens and a Nikkormat FT3 with AI 50/1.4. Both are in very nice shape.

There's something about the N80 that I just really like. It fits my hand like a glove. Plus it's a very full featured camera, having most any control I could ask for. And the 28-105 D is a great lens for manual focus as well as autofocus. And the Nikkormat -- well, what can I say? Built like a tank, yet very smooth to operate. Really it is a surprisingly refined camera, more refined than its industrial-strength counterpart, the F2. This camera has a vertical shutter, so it has a 1/125 flash sync. Mirror up, hot shoe, full information viewfinder -- well almost. It shows shutter speeds, but not apertures. Just a solid, great camera. You may notice a strip of the leatherette coming off the side of the FT3. Not to worry, I did this so I could access the two screws underneath. The back has an annoying habit of popping open when I push on one spot on the back, so I'm hoping I can adjust the catches for the back such that it will be held a bit tighter.

15 bucks got me a Exacta VX with a 50mm and 85mm lens, from the local flea market today. Thought it was dead until a little reading on the net and found out about the shutter block button. Moved it and shazam the shutter fired. I've already put a roll of 100 bw thru it and will process it in a few minutes. The bottom of the camera is marked Occupied USSR, so 52 or earlier, but the serial number suggests 55 or 56. Pretty cool last camera, as it joins the row of other last cameras. J

Well I shazamed to soon, the 1st curtain has pin holes. The shutter speeds seem to be good though..Guess I'll try the old pin hole patch and see what happens. J

Pentax Spotmatic with f1.4 Super-Takumar (body seen better days, lens exc++)
Petri Color 35 (exc)
Rollei B35 (exc)
Yashica WR35(?) rangefinder
Pentax Auto 110 (std & tele lenses)
Kodak No.1 Pocket camera
Plus various accessories that inevitably come with such things such as slide on flash shoes, 2x converters, tripod ball & sockets, etc.
£28 for the lot at a local auction. I was only really after the f1.4 Takumar, so it was a good buy for that alone!

In the box with the F5 was a K1000, which I will be happy to play with every now and again and set back on the shelf, and an FM-2n, which is singing these strange siren songs. It's such a solid camera...

...aaaand The Darkroom just finished up the test roll of Fuji 200 from the FM2n. Looks like it's good to go.
