Just made two exhibition prints, the first off a 10x8 negative, I had to use a stepladder to reach the knob that controls filtration :D The second was off a 5x4 negative so easier :D

Getting low on my final stocks of Forte Polywarmtone, I think one pack of 24"x20" left . . . . . . . .

A couple of rolls of Orwo UN54+ developed in D-76 1:1. Just cut them and put them in sleeves last night.

I just finished to develop an APS cartridge of Fujifilm Nexia 400 which expired in July 2007. I used Unicolor C-41 Press kit at room temperature, 1 hour in the developer and 45 minutes in the Blix.
Well, I'll be damned :D

Developed my first sheets ever of 8x10 last night. WOW, I just went back to 4x5 in August and I'm already thinking about canning that and doubling down on 8x10...lol

Eastman 5302 from 1972 that I shot at 1.2 ASA with my Topcon 35-L and processed in my Rondinax with Rodinal 1:50. Lot of scratches & dust, most of it due to my hand-rolling fiasco from a month ago, but still very very sharp.

15 rolls of C-41 and two ECN-2 rolls over the course of three evenings. Scanning will take me a few weeks or more. Getting a Sous Vide was the best decision in a while.

Made a print from a 4x5 portrait of my son using a Meniscus lens (one of Richard Schalbe's). First time I used such a lens. Came out nice, but focussing such a lens is a bit harder.

Two more rolls of Orwo UN54+ in D-76 1:1.
Shot in very bright sun and guessing exposure I ended up with pretty dens negatives, but they'll print okay.

Two rolls of 5222-XX shot at EI250 and developed in D-76 1:1.

I’ve been playing with the 5222/D-76 combo for a little while now trying to find a time and agitation scheme I liked and I think I finally found what I was after. These negatives have the contrast I’ve been looking for.

A short roll (12 exp.) of Orwo N74+ in D-76 1:1.

I think there must be something wrong with my equipment, too; The photos on that roll weren't very good!

Nothing fancy, just a test roll of the new P3200 in an F3 with 105/2.5 shot at ISO 3200 and developed in XTol 1:1 in a jobo rotary.
This one isn't even properly scanned but as a fast test the film seems to handle the brightness range and holds detail fairly well:

Wanting to try ascorbic acid developer, I mixed a little Dr. Blood Phenidone-Ascorbic acid developer part A (which incidentally is same as Jay Defehr's PG-110B minus Borax). Part B required Sodium Metaborate which I didn't have. Instead I mixed 7g of Borax and 2g of Sodium Carbonate in 1l of water suggested in an old Apug thread as a functional substitute for 1% Metaborate solution. First strip of film I developed came out fine but had developer surge. So I cut down agitation for the second strip (Orwo N74+) and gave 15 minutes of development. Negatives look ok though slightly lower in contrast for my taste. Next time I'll probably try a Bicarbonate-Carbonate buffer as the accelerator instead of Borax-Carbonate.

Motivated by Jnanian's strong endorsement of Ansco 130 as film developer, I developed a small strip of Orwo N74+ ISO 400 film using 1:30 dilution for 30 minutes (semi-stand) at 22C. Negatives look good to my eyes though a bit low in contrast for my taste. Next time I'll try 1:20 dilution for this film.

16 years expired Kodak BWC 400 (C-41 Chromo) shot at 100 ASA with my Pentax Spotmatic (The one I fixed a few days ago) and processed in my Rondinax 35U with HC-110 knockoff at 20c for 5:30.
Very pleased with the results, moreover I get to have a new camera in working condition :D

Shot inside an old postal train car.

I'm on crutches, due to being stupid and breaking a small, but annoying bone in my foot.

Yesterday we had some lovely winter sunlight. I drove around pointing my trusty old Fujica G617, handheld. out the window of my trusty old Subaru. 250th at f 16.

3 rolls of TMY-2 in XTOL. Negatives look nice.

Being a non-Facebook using Luddite (and non-Instagram) I have decided to print photos and send them to family. So I bought some Ilford postcards. I gave them a try and printed 4 each of these photos (these are scanned from the negatives, but the prints came out well.) I’ll be mailing them off this week.
