what is the last thing you developed or printed

I held the camera - it is somewhat heavy for the 5 and 6 year old kids. But they are interested in printing in the darkroom and urge me to make some cyanotypes with them. They call them 'magic paper'!

4 rolls of 135-36 Ilford HP5+ and
2 rolls of 135-36 Bergger Pancro 400

All in Ilford Ilfotec-DD-X, and they're all looking good!
These are my first rolls of the Bergger films, and they're definitely lower contrast than the HP5+ (the way I've developed them), but I haven't scanned or printed anything yet, so I'm just judging on eyeballing negatives dangling over my bath...

Prompted by (there was a url link here which no longer exists) I made my first gum bichromate print today. Single layer.

I used what I had to hand, and the paper I think was pretty unsuitable; and I used gum arabic from a pet shop (you feed it to Marmosets apparently) that I'd had for a couple of years after making some Iron Gall ink; But the Potassium dichromate and the negative were the real deal

Not, it has to be said, the most beautiful thing I've ever printed, but then it was about understanding how to go about the process rather than trying to become the next Bob Carnie

Still and all, a picture came out at the end, which always is a bonus ...

I tried out a roll of SFX200 with a #25 red filter and tried to shoot what I would typically shoot with infrared film and a 720 filter.
Developed it in Xtol 1:1
Totally disappointed.
Mostly with the flatness of the pictures, peculiar contrast, and fog, I think. Unfortunately, I had left the camera in the trunk of my car for about 10 a week while temps were hovering just below 100F (37C).
It was a bad idea.

The last thing I developed was a kind of calotype that is supposed to last more than 24 hours...and it looks like it will. Just got home from quick trip to Washington state and Idaho, with a few rolls of film. Off to Norway tomorrow. I guess I'm a true Apuger... am taking a dozen of the new calotypes and 20 rolls of acros, and will rely on my daughter for digital snapshots ( she's better at that than I am anyway )

roll of agfavista 200. shot in an xa2 at 400 because I didn't reset the iso dial from the last time i used it. d'oh.
developed in tetenal CD that i've had mixed up and under the sink for a couple of years. not sure how many rolls have been through it.
managed to get it to 39C then developed the roll for 3'30".
blix went bad a long time ago so I put a teaspoon of KBr and one of Pot. ferricyanide into 300ml of warm water and used that as a bleach for 10 minutes or so.
fixed in ordinary rapid fix for about 5 mins.
threw out my stab. solution by accident a few weeks ago so I dumped a few ml of formalin in DIW+Ilfotol and used that as a final.
doesn't look quite right but then it never has at home for me, even when I was using the full fresh Tetenal kit and watching my temps like a hawk.

Printed about 30 small platinum prints today (Palladium with Na2). The last ones are in the wash. I was worried about running out of hanging space, but the first prints of the day were dry enough to take down, giving me enough space to the remaining. Fun little 2 1/4" sq prints from TLR negatives (Rollieflex, 'cord and an Autocord). Fun, but they take the same time, effort and care as larger prints. Almost as much time -- I exposed and processed in groups of three. Local scenes, many from walks along the Mad River, just down the street past the local brewery. A few of town, some images made in heavy fog along the river. Twelve hours, with a nap in there somewhere. Matting and framing this weekend!!!

This was one of the few not-local. Above Mono Lake.

Since 3 weeks, I am often in the darkroom. I came back from a 2 weeks trip in Scotland. Many HP5 Plus, FP4 Plus, Velvia (to the lab). In 3 hours, I'll print some shots from 6x9 negatives (Glasgow Cathedral) on Arista Edu FB.

Curious how you mat them - size, borders, etc.

On Thursday, I will begin PtPd printing a series of twenty-three 35mm images from a trip I took to Yosemite in April. I have decided to print them full frame 9"x13.5" with centered 16"x20" mats.

Finished matting and framing them yesterday (actually at 3:30 this morning). I filled a dozen 5"x5" frames, two 5"x12" (for 3 images each), and a 5"x9" (2 images) with my little 2 1/4" square prints.

For most, the windows were cut over-size so that the film rebate, plus another 1/16" shows around the image area. For the light airey images made in heavy fog along the river, the windows overlap the images to preserve the feeling of the light.

I installed the show this morning -- I need to go back this afternoon and put up labels, so I'll try to get a snapshot of the work on the wall. Just to break things up a little, I have three 4x10 prints (two platinum/palladium and one carbon) up also.

How many do you develop at one time? I'm accumulating a backlog, but it would be done pretty quick if I could do 19 in one weekend! I just develop one at a time, and am probably too scared to try anything different since all the rolls contain photos I care about...

On the wall (there are several others on little stands). I also put a short description of platinum printing in a 5x7 film sheath on a stand next to the magnifying glass.
