Where I live can have extreme variations in weather, but this is the most extreme weather related thing I've ever seen on the north coast of BC, Canada: a pussy willow from the edge of the Skeena River near Terrace BC, picked in early December. It's over two months ahead of schedule and there hasn't been a cold snap yet. Also, no snow on the valley floor and grass is still green. Weird craziness!

Overcast, hovering just above freezing with short bursts of snow flakes, but no accumulation.

Yesterday we had a good 7mm of ice. Freezing rain. I put on my Yaktrax crampons and a bicycle helmet to do a little exploration. Pretty much, should be gone after tomorrow.

Here, high today was 70, low in the low 40s, will be in the high 70s and 80s by the end of the week. Our 30 year average is 66F

In the 60's F for most of the month.

I'm resurrecting this thread to check in on everyone after the horrendous storms that swept most of our country. High winds, spring blizzards, severe thunder storms, tornados, what haven't we experienced in the last week!!!!!
We were doing a back road tour in the south when we decided to head home to avoid getting caught in bad weather. We got home Sunday just in time for it to hit us, within half an hour of arriving our phones blew up with severe storm and tornado warnings. According to NWS, we had an EF-1 tornado pass through our neighborhood (no damages to us). Power should be back on by late Wednesday. Thank goodness we have a backup generator.

Still normal here for winter. One hwy across the coastal range is shut due to an active slide, some strong winds, but not extreme. Averaging about an inch a day of rain, but some sun occasionally. More snow expectedd on the passes heading east from town.

Taken on a recent morning walk before the rains returned for the day.

Feeling of early spring here in Montreal. Won't last, but enjoying it while it's here.

Enjoying the odd warm day mixed in with a bunch of cold ones when it comes. This morning is -2 C, tomorrow afternoon will be 23 C.

On West-North of Mexico, next to the border with Calexico,CA. Weather had been all over the place the past week. From freezing cold (some snow near by) to really hot, along with some very windy days.

Just the usual.

Sunny with blue sky and 4C.

The four seasons in Ottawa are almost winter, winter, still winter and road repair.

Rochester New York has two seasons: winter and the 4th of July. Some years the 4th of July does not come to Rochester.

The reason George Eastman founded Kodak in Rochester is because Rochester is the world's largest natural darkroom.

A Kodak rep once told me that in Rochester the sky is usually 18% grey.

Would you say the general census of opinion is that we are seeing dramatic climate change?
