As far as addresses for this round if everyone could just PM you info to those in your group.

I had hoped for an area to hold this information but looks like we'll have to wait. I know that Sean is extremely busy.

Thanks,

Jim

I'm glad that you liked it Jeremy. Thanks for the kind words. I'm looking forward to getting exchanges in return when you all have some free time.

Will do! I have an image that I like, but I'm not totally thrilled with so I will be printing another this week--I'm slowly coming to what I want to send

I hope no one minds if the prints are not mounted. I just don't have the time. Assuming the sun pops out this week the prints should be in the mail by next monday or tuesday.

Mine are printed, they just need some slight spotting.

I think I printed two sets... couldn't decide what to send at the time. Now I've had time to forget what I printed, all I have to do is find where I put them to re-decide if I have to print a new set... I will aim to get them into the post this week, then my swapees can claim to have gotten a Xmas present from overseas

Mark, unmounted is fine with me.

I will be picking up my prints from FedEx today. They should be ready to go out this week sometime. The prints are 11x14 unmounted.

I'm still in the process of printing. I don't really have any excuses other than I'm going through a "printing slump"... but I have a good feeling that I'll be back on track very soon. They WILL be done by the end of this week. And I doubt I will be mounting, by the way.

I'm still offshore... Will start printing when I get home, possibly Friday. Then hope to get prints sendt the week after - unmounted 9½x12", or maybe 18x24cm contacts. Don't know yet - I have a few sheets of film to develop too. If I decide to use one of those, printing will start Monday.

I will be printing my set this weekend. Have spent the last two weekends prepping and hanging the "Where in the World" exhibit at the Valley Photo Center here in Springfield. About 150 photos from about 100 different area photographers.
I did print one recent Quabbin neg... don't know what the heck I was thinking as far as contrast. I should learn not to print when not in a good mood.

Greetings from Melbourne Australia: I am interested to find out more about ' The Print Exchange ' , Perhaps I could join in sometime in 2005. Q.1. What size prints are usually sent ? Q. 2. how many prints per round ? Q.3. How many rounds per year ?
Please send Email direct to :- < barrieb@alphalink.com.au > Cheers BarrieB
I usually photograph Landscape , Fishing boats , Reflections , and sometimes Portraits.

Barrie, it is generally not a good idea to post your email address in a public forum. Unless, you really want tons and tons of more spam. That is why the forum has a public messaging system.

Just a thought...

I finished printing today, finally. I put 2 sheets of matboard on each side of the print for protection, then I will "bind" it with tape, then the envelope... And I will/should have them in the mail by this weekend or early next week. And also, to my 2 exchangees in NZ and Australia, I am supposed to write "gift" and "$0 value" correct? Thanks.

No problem there Grant. Putting $0 value might be usefull (speaking for NZ) - not sure about Australia.
btw mine will go in the post at the same time.
best,
John.
