Very nice Johan,
it's a good reminder that panoramic formats can also work in the vertical.

Xia, also a great composition (just watch the dust on the scanner).

Jeese, if I had known all it would take is a couple of dust spots to get you active, I would have posted some sooner. Welcome to APUG (sorry, will always be APUG to me). Hopefully it won't be 6 years until your next post.

2 recent images on trying out a 4x5 wide angle using an old pre war Linhof 4x5 so paper negs are in conventional sheet film holders, pinhole in very thin brass shim since these were taken I have had to modify internal flare but suspect the holders or light seals on the body. Applied quite a bit of USM to give a bite to the details (I am not crazy about too much softness of pinhole imges). I also pre flash prior to development.
1st. Image: Local Old Farm. 4x5 hacked pinhole camera using paper Negative Ilfospeed2.1M @Iso 3. fl.60mm dia. 0.30mm f200. Expose 20mins. in weak sun. (light in Belgium...)
At this focal length the coverage is falling off quite a bit.
2nd. Image: Local stream. Exposed 1hr. (sun kept hiding, Belgium afterall).

Hi, new to forum. I'm excited to find this place. I've been dabbling in pinhole for a while. I recently made an expensive impulse purchase of a P.90/2 6x9 pinhole camera from Mottweiler Studio. While I don't believe that cameras need to be expensive to be good I have to admit that I just saw this thing and had to have it. I very much admire the work of others in B&W but have been mostly disappointed in my own results. I see, think and compose in color. Here is one of my first images with my new camera.

And for those who might be wondering "why does that guy have a jeweler's loupe?" I'm into fountain pens and it helps with aligning the tines of the nib.

REAndy

Nice! I restore vintage pens myself, and have all manner of loupes in my kit. I think that film cameras, mechanical watches, and fountain pens all represent the ultimate achievements of obsolescent technologies. I suppose that's why I like piston driven aircraft, steam locomotives, and battleships as well. There's just something about squeezing the maximum capabilities out of a technology that is supremely appealing.
