I got my two bags of EcoPro from B&H the other day. I'm set for the next year or more.

I'll be putting it in a 5L wine pouch -- and there are two bags, I won't mix the second until the first is almost done. So, yes, I'm pretty confident I'll get a year or more of service out of these two bags.

I heard back from Sinopromise today. They're keeping it pithy.

This is a PR train wreck. With every passing week, I grow less and less likely to buy ANY Kodak product, even Tmax films. I’m ready to ditch Kodak and move entirely to Ilford.

After a week or two of sending them an email, I got a short reply today saying- "Your replacement product has been ordered. I can't give you a ship date at this time."

They really botched this up. Its almost 6 months since they initially sent us the first email.

I switched completely to Adox XT-III and I'm fine with that, we got that good old Xtol back by Adox. Currently shooting few rolls of HP5 in 135 format and giving it another chance to replace Tri-X which price just keeps going up..

Ilford has 10000x better reputation of handling quality & other issues. I've experienced it myself. Fast actions and generous replacement.

It does appear as though our chains are being yanked.

Total ineptitude. I PAID for these products last July, and yet here I sit, waiting still. I can go BUY it in any of the retail stores, but why should I??!

Yes, I get the sense I'm being offered manufactured excuses.

I guess it's time for me to move on and just work with the Xtol that I have. If the new stuff arrives, it arrives. Lots of other developers out there. Still love using Pyrocat-HD.

Someone must be cutting & pasting this reply out to us. This is the 2nd time they have sent me this answer. The only Kodak product that I buy any longer is Tmax Film. I am ready to stop buying it as well. Kodak was once a $6 billion dollar a year company. It’s sad that they have been reduced to this. There are a few other choices in the marketplace. I will support them.
I guess they really are only KINO (Kodak In Name Only) Impermanence and change are inescapable.

Great news, I just had Fedex drop off my replacement Xtol and it is in new packaging, more like the other opaque bags we had before. Very glad to get these, it replaces 20 kits of the bad (?) stuff.
