Photo Engineer has posted some things to that effect here on APUG/Photrio. Not specifically about delays, but definitely about "issues".
 
I am taking a believe it when I see it approach. Unfortunately, meeting dates has become optional in many aspects of current life. Under promise and over deliver has fallen out of fashion.
 
The last I heard, it was delayed until sometime next year. I have been told this has been published somewhere, perhaps a quarterly report or somesuch.

Kodak nailed the Ektachrome formula with the GX version. Natural skin colour with warm tones.

I'm waiting but not holding my breath. As I've said several times before... if it happens I'll be happy but all we've really heard (and I had an employee there to verify for me) is the CES announcement and nothing else (other than rumor and assumptions)... no literature, no status, no updates, and no samples... no nothing that I have seen.

Perhaps someone smarter than me can point to where it is in the earnings call... I can't find any mention: http://investor.kodak.com/events.cfm
 
I do not see in that report.any statement concerning new Ektachrome on date of introduction or delay of that.

Correct. It doesn't say that. That statement is nowhere to be found except on APUG... as of yet, at least.
 
Cant remember where I read it, but someone asked Kodak the status of Ektachrome lately and they said it should be reintroduced late this year, early next year. So they are getting close now.
 
Meanwhile we got a special thread just on this statement issue. Yes, Apug is exhaustive...

I'm really looking forward to getting this in Super 8 and regular 8mm. I know they don't have any plans to make it in Regular 8mm but they do plan to make it in 16mm which will be re-perforated by others.

I take it we can rely on the Kodakery site for the real inside information? Is Kodakery definitely "Our Man in Havana" Do they do a N. Koreanery as well.My experience is that when such people set their minds to it there is almost nothing they are not the insiders on.
