What cameras are capable of shooting E6 in 126 format i wonder?

I know Kodak sold a 126 version of the INSTAMATIC Reflex

What cameras are capable of shooting E6 in 126 format i wonder?
Were there any 126 SLR cameras? I doubt an instamatic could make accurate exposures, since they have no light meter.

There are type 126 SLRs. The Rollei and the Kodak model come to my mind immediately. But there are more.


There also are type 126 finder cameras with autoexposure.

back to the subject of motion picture film, I cant wait to see a similar logo to this at the bottom of the credits on a feature film!

I have family slides taken with very basic Instamatics and pocket cameras with no meter that turned out very well. My family at the time would have had no knowledge of photography at all and the slides are more than acceptable, so I guess it is a possibility.

Many of the pictures my parents took during my childhood were taken with a Kodak Instamatic. On Kodachrome. I'd say 90% of them were properly exposed. It's more than a possibility, it's already been done, as your family slides and mine already attest.

We're not just talking about MP film, but still film too. But yes, I'd love to see a similar logo at the end of the credits too. But I don't want to lose the Kodak MP films either.

I forget the exact models but there was always a line of Kodak Cameras. While the basic models like the X-15 or X-15F shold very well there were advanced models like the X-35 with a basic light meter, and at least a couple of higher models.

The Japanese and German 126 camera almost always had a meter, and often a rangefinder or SLR focus system.

Same think Happened in 110 where there was a Pocket Instamatic 20, and later an even cheaper Pocket Instamatic 10, but the line went up to the Pocket Instamatic 60 with a rangefinder for it's EKTAR lens.

Looks like Ricoh also made a 126 SLR, the Ricoh 126C-flex. Looks like it had four shutter speeds (1/30, 1/60, 1/125, and 1/300) plus B. It also had a hot shoe, a flash cube socket, and a PC socket.

Pentax also had the Pentax Auto 110 SLR for 110 film, so at least some makers tried to allow photographers some flexibility like the 35mm and up crowd for 126 and 110 shooters.

Yes I dont want to see kodak MP film vanish, nor does Dave Bias, but will be great publicity for Ferrania if a film used Ferrania stock, even on the new E6.

Thats great to see some photos!
I cant wait to see what it looks like inside the big boy building.
Its kind of sad to see that all this will be demolished, but if its no profitable use, then its essentially worthless.

Xmas is a terrific ambassador for film and a good friend of mine. And he has helped many people both in this forum and in the real world.

I have seen 126 slides though, so there must have been cameras capable of it. I think Ferrania will be selling more 126 film in C41 rather than E6

Rollei did a SLR camera with 3 interchangeable lenses, the SL26. They also did a nice viewfinder one, the A26.

Haha! Now, that is a nice shot!

A few years ago, BBC show a documentary with recovered film from the early 20th Century shot in the streets of an industrial town. Some shots had boys and girls running around the streets and pulling faces to the cameraman.
They were just being mischievous.

Well Sorry if in any way I am repetitive but the thread is VERRYYYY VERYYYY long and it's my very first post in APUG. Well I would just like to submit a series of proposals for the possibillities about your products:

1. Please upload very specific and detailed Tech Data and Advices about your films that include data about reciprocity failure, durabbility etc
2. Cooperation with the big players: Ferrania could cooperate with companies like Kodak in order to provide forms of subcontracting, technical advice etc. Kodak had some legendary film lines especially in Slide's.
