Developing tanks with aprons

Did OP submit an image of this "apron"? I would love to see an easier way of loading film onto a reel.

OP was posting about the Kodak system with did not use a reel, film was rolled up into the apron inserted into the tank and plate was set on the apron to keep the apron from floating up in the developer.

Thanks for this - I wonder if anyone has used the dark apron - I just purchased a type B tank with an apron that looks like the one in the attached photo. I hope to use it for Washi Y film emulsion on kozo paper

That apron is old enough to be historic!
Same for the reel.
I've seen references to them, but never a photo of one "in the flesh".
I started out using the see-saw method. Then I went to the more modern Kodak apron tanks, then to a plastic reel with ratchets, and then to steel reels, and finally a combination of steel reels ane Paterson compatible plastic reels.
