Still waiting in LA. Weather is just okay - overcast and cool; tomorrow to be windy.

Still waiting here in Niagara Falls -- about an hour's drive from Rochester. How dare they make me wait so long for my free stuff? It's an outrage.

Still waiting in Worcester. MA.

We'll see what happens, but I cant really complain though, it was FREE.

Anybody else in the Northeast still waiting?

The free film comes packaged in regular boxes that are enclosed in a mailing tube with a cap at each end. If a cap is missing, the tube will be empty.

My tube arrived empty today with one cap missing.

Frankly, this is a shame for both Kodak and the recipient.

I don't know first hand, but I strongly suspect Kodak paid good money to a fulfillment firm to distribute the film. If so, that firm has apparently done a very poor job. I can understand how it can be difficult to match supply and demand with respect to film format. But not taking the simple step to staple or tape the ends is foolish.

I've mailed hundreds of tubes all over the world and have had probably less than 1% open up and empty out in transit. I tape the ends well, but stuff happens. The fulfillment company sent out thousands. I suspect it was inevitable that some (a very small percentage) would lose their contents.

When I received mine, one of the caps was partially pushed in. Fortunately the opening wasn't large enough for the four rolls to fall out. What I noticed was that although the cardboard tube was quite robust - the plastic end caps were made of a very flimsly plastic (probably to keep weight down).

As others noted there was no tape etc. Perhaps because if the caps were of a larger gauge plastic they would have fit more snugly and then, yes, taping would have been unnecessary?

Never received mine. Called EK back in December, was told to call be 2 weeks later. Did so, and some nice fella there sent out 1 roll of each, all in 120!

Will be trying them out in March with a trip to San Antonio.

I keep looking in the mail with anticipation, but nothing yet. I hope it gets here before my access to a kreonite machine goes away!
