I still havent got my film...their response as of yesterday "more people filled it out than we anticipated, we were only obligated to send to 20,000 people" WTF kodak, if you're only gunna send to 20,000 then take your damn page down when you hit that number!

Again: Anyone who got film other than what they requested, let me know via PM or email. When I called, they told me they want people to be able to try the film, and gave me information on who to call, etc., but asked me not to post on websites for fear of a deluge of calls from people who never registered in the first place.

OK, here's a question... Does anyone know if the 35mm and 120 are really the same stock? That way I can really compare each to the other, i'll just frame things so that it's in frame for 35mm. The only real problem I have is that I only have a single 35mm back, so I won't be able to shoot the "same" shot with all four films.

Relax! If you didn't get it FOR FREE, because you singed up too late, them's the breaks. It is FREE GIVEAWAY, and as such, they aren't really obliged to give anything to anyone.

If I hadn't made the cutoff, I would just have gone and bought a couple of rolls to sate my curiousity. No biggie.

I got the one address to me now. Same thing as my boss. Two rolls 120 , 160VC/NC , and two 35mm 400NC/VC.

*sigh* well at least I got the film even if its not the exact type I wanted, but we've gone over this numerous times.

I have the exact opposite of yours - I have 2 rolls of 35mm 160NC and VC and 2 rolls of 120 400NC and 400VC...?

I've not received anything yet either, but it IS free film, so I'm not going to complain too much.

20,000 samples to give away and demand outstripped supply. From what I've read the film is excellent. Excellent film and high demand, to me, indicates something very positive for those who love film.

I didn't recieve mine and I suspect I fell over the 20k line.

Except you aren't a customer in this case - so whatever experience you will have, is NOT a customer experience. This is a giveaway and not a sale. (And it also sounds like you have some baggage with them as well which hurts objectivity)

This is a little like bitching because a company exhibiting in a convention wouldn't give you swag or they were out of the swag you wanted. (Swag is a term that describes little freebies sometimes given out by exhibitors - can range from pens/T-shirts/small items with logos, to iPods, to USB thumb drives with catalogs on it + logo, to product samples)

I have the exact opposite of yours - I have 2 rolls of 35mm 160NC and VC and 2 rolls of 120 400NC and 400VC...?

I was hoping for 160NC/VC in the 35mm format. (I do have medium format cameras, but meh I'd like to be able to try the 160s thru the Canon P)

What I find funny is my boss, myself, my wife, my co-worker
we all got 35mm 400NC/VC and 120 160NC/VC, I guess we were in the same line of choices in roll combination.

Got mine today. Even more exciting than the film was the canister it came in. That would make a cool pinhole camera for 4x5 film. Now to work on making the perfect hole...

I got mine yesterday, three rolls 35mm and one 120. I use 120 and occasionally use 35 mm so it's all great!!
