tib, walmart does in fact send their 120 and 135 to Fuji Labs which is why I thought I'd be safe.. Guess I was wrong... I'm looking forward to seeing the scan which I'll post later.

So, I've seen some threads about having 120 B/W developed at Wal-mart so I gave it a try but with some Fuji 160 "S" given to me by the nice gent I got some MF Lenses from.
YUK
The pic's came back sharp but very, very dull. No black nor color sat...
Could this be the "S" film or is this Wally...
gerry, that's just what I'm finding and thanking the digi shooters for the same. Got nothing against the digi shooters it's just not where my photography is headed at the moment
I am SO enjoying this camera. I just wish 135 had only 12 exposures so I could develop right away I won't just...
Hi there...
Just made the trade / deal. Some Nikon Gear for the Leica M6 and two lenses (Leica 50mm f/2 and the zeiss ZM 35 f/2, New)
So, I don't think I'll ever want a flash on this guy, what would you recommend for indoor film, both b/w and color and your rating for it please, just to get me...
Thank you much. I think I would only use the red filter. Can you please tell me if the quality is known to be good? Are there several different types? I'm not lazy just having a hard time finding the info.
Thank you.
Tom
Good day.
I just went back to 35mm film. I have the Epson V500 that I use for my Med Format neg's and I'm happy with it.
When scanning 35mm's with this scanner, I see that you can put two rows of 35mm negs in the tray. When it scans, how do you seperate the indv. images for export...
I would of course use my MF for landscape work but I would really see sometimes where I would enjoy a very long shutter for this. I have various Singh-Ray filters and I'm wondering how I could use them on this??
My fav, the Vari-ND whereas I can dial in ND from 2 to 8 stops would prob. work...
Yup Uncle, I can see I'm done for.
Honestly, it may be the finest camera I've ever held in my hands. (I don't get out much) I can't put it into exact words but it just works so well for me. The Focusing is awesome and I really love the meter system whereas the arrows pave the way. Even a dim...
I think that's the best description and one that I feel is true in my case. What's odd is that after many years of shooting digital I've found that the better the digi camera body got, the less I was excited and even, perhaps, I was taking not the pictures I was certianly up to. I found this...
Kava, those pictures are wonderful. That camera seems like a great tool. But I've always known it's the eye and mind behind the viewer that makes the pictures.
Today I went to a Auth Leica dealer here in NJ. I am trying the M6 for a week, with the 50mm f/2 and a zeiss f/2, I simply would not be...
Thanks so much for peeking. Pinhole, that's what I had in mind also, I've heard great things about them. But I doubt that I'll even be able to afford them for at least another year after this pick up. I've not commited to the camera yet, I just have it for the week, but once I held it in my...
I'm so excited about coming down with my boy. Richard said he's more then welcome which made me even more excited. I really love the area and really like the idea of meeting you all.
I also very happy about my return to film. It's proven to be just right for me.
Please let me know when you are...
HOLY COW!!!!
Picked it up just for a trial for the week and I'm already in love with it. I was think about the M3 but I love the meter on this. Simple along with simply focusing ability. The man at the store said, that's it, you'll have the bug....
I think he's right.....
I'm am so excited...
I love it but...
I'm sorry for asking such a simple, newbie question, but what's a digital negative as it relates to the 3800 or any printer please.
Thank you.
Tom
This is some awesome information. Thanks so much guys... I'll post what I'll do soon. I think I like the Bessa option.
So, does the Bessa come with the M mount if I can afford M lenses later or do I have to have my dealer do it?
Thanks again tons.
Tom
I like it for two reasons.
1. All I have to think about is the picture I'd like to make. Just the Frame man, just the frame.
2. I don't run to the computer and have to buy all the little add on's, lenses, all the issues that give me G.A.S.
Great camera. I see that one person mentioned the 120mm f/4 macro. It's wonderful! Sharp as a tack at f/4 and allows you to cover a range of shots but for portraits it's simply amazing. It's a bit more expensive then others, I got mine on ebay, a 9+) for $210 while KEH has the same for over...
