I
I may even post a few. This morning we went to Coit Tower where I wore the Hasselblad 503 CX with the 30mm C Fisheye lens and the Hasselblad 903 SWC. The guard opened windows for us so I could take photographs with the Fisheye. We then went to the gate at the south end of Chinatown and...
I bought a B60 to 67mm adapter. Search the B&H, Adorama and then the internet. I found it fast when I looked about a year ago. I buy B60 filters whenever possible, mainly used as there are plenty of high quality used B60 filters out there. Now that camera store are no longer carrying black &...
I received the Nikon NIKKOR f/3.5 15mm AI-s last night. Now I want to figure out if I can chip it [add the electronic connections to the aperture, not chip the glass] or if I will have to have some one do it for me. I am not sure that there is a good surface to mount the chip in the proper...
I gave up going to thrift stores in my area, because they send all the cameras off some where else to be sold and the stores have no cameras to sell. Good for you and your find, I am glad someone can find cameras in thrift stores.
I do not drink coffee, but I see that every time the price of coffee increases due to frost, ... , the ones that gripe the most still buy and drink the same amount of coffee every day at work.
It was a long time ago when CRTs were not as good as they are now, so there is no meaningful way to compare them. The point is that cold and warm blooded bodies are in the 14-15 micron range.
Retriculation is not a manufacturing problem. It is a problem in isolated darkroom from temperature extremes with the chemicals and water. Stop running hot water to wash you films. Kodak did not burn you; you burned yourself.
I agree with @MattKing on this. I do not shoot high volumes of film. The replenished XTOL has lasted for years and the grain is finer than 1+1 aka 1:1. I do clip tests every time I use the developer.
I have owned Mac computers since 1984 with my Big Mac [512]. I have only owned a few Macs because they last so long. I added a daughter board to the 512 Mac with a 68030 and a math coprocessor and it was really fast for the time. I used that as a data server for my other computers until...
Put the camera in a sealed plastic bag such as a 1 or 2 gallon ZipLok bag, pushing out most of the air and store the camera in the refrigerator. When you want to use your camera again, take the camera and bag out of the refrigerator and wait for the camera to completely warm up before opening...
Kodak color film is way better than Ilford color film. Kodak color film will still be work the price. As I learned as a teenager, choose you subjects carefully and do not waste film. Am I surprized at the price change? No. Am I happy about it? No, but I will learn to deal with it.
I worked on FLIR in the 1970's. It was interesting to using it from the roof house at night and aim it at the runway to see rabbits making rabbits all over the place.
