Yes, yes, and yes.... these old Rolleiflexes will keep on taking excellent photographs long after most of us are dead and gone a long ways off. The Triotars and Tessars are simply very good lenses and the Rollei bodies were very well made and are still holding up. That simple it is. I have a...
As I expected You continue to do superb work, Sir and good to see you posting it here. I have a foot problem now and am restricted from standing for long times and cannot get to the dark room for very long times. But it is beginning to get better so stand by and I shall flood the air ways with...
Very bice work.... for my money, I'd push it with a fair bit more contrast.... I think it would take it and whomp it up a bit. I too and a steam RR fanatic and think a almost heavy contrast works well in these shots, but this does stand well as-is.... Logan
Stick with the good oldS2 I have one, too and love it to death.... can't beat the old Pal.... once I had it in my hands I knew we were meant to be together for all time regardless of price and I bought all the extra lenses I could find at the time.... did a whole trip West with it and a 21mm...
A truly fabulous print, indeed. This kind of work will send the children shooting digitals right back to film and B&W I should think. This is truly what the game is really all about, isn't it? Wonderful work! Logan
If 'twere me, I'd up the development time by 27% based on some long painful years of underexposed negs..... I did some long experimenting work and 27% came out as the best compensation for a missed filter factor on a yellow filter..

It miht help a bit to straighten the columb to vertical... just make that just vertical and let everything else fall where it may and you'll be fine... otherwise a fine photo.. Logan
Don't do this! think Man... use your brain here.... 'cords are good and so are RB's .... just go get a 'cord and/or get a 645.... but hang on to the RB.... too good a beast to ever loose track of.... use some thinking power here!!! this you will regret for the rest of your life, believe me...
This is a very, very nice photograph here. I seem to notice more and more Leica bodies and Voightlaender lenses. I think there may be a message here but I have not yet figured it out yet. Any clues?
Well, whatever you did the little print here looks really good. 8x10's generally do, however. Would love to see a bigger print here, too. My bet is that it will go right on up to 16x20 with no sweat as we sailors say.... I shall wait to see the larger print..... Logan
All the votes here appear to say keep the RB and mine is the same. The beast is a brick and a ton to carry and will produce the best negatives you will ever get and you will never, ever regret your choice and I regularly shoot it and the Bronica. HAVE SOME FUN, TOO!!!

These old horses are a joy to find and use... the Goddess of Photography sends then to us in our hours of need and inquisitiveness to inspire us to greater things in photography and remind us that not all great or good photographs come only out of Hasselblads and Rolleiflexes.
I think I shorted you... mostly what you will really need for landscape work is the 50mm, which in that case you might get it and have it welded. The 65mm is good, but in comparison, the 50mm is head and shoulders above the 65. Again, of course it wants some huge filters... right now I can't...
I have them both and the 100mm is as sharp a lens as ever was made. I have only used the 110mm for close up stuff and it, too is very, very sharp, though I have used it a good bit less. Depending on your uses either will give you good service. If it is big landscapes I'd go with the 100mm...
One of my favorite places in Spain abov most all others. Excellent work here. Keep at it . I did it for several weekends while installing the Spanish Weather Computer System in Madrid several years back until a Retina Dettcment put an end to that job for me. I did mine with a Rolleiflex 3.5F and...
What a beautiful child..... you, like me, seem to like the old Bronica Cameras which just never fail to make the very best photographs. I have been using them since the very first S Models came out. I had one of the first Model "C"'s to come out . i bought it while in Vietnam. It had a tough...
Yes, I think it does. Light jumps from one quantum level of response to another without hitting some of the levels in between. If we had eyes like cats do we could see these levels, but, alas we do not have those response activators so we miss those levels but some of us fill in those shades of...
So, what, after all did you expect? These machines do this every day, day in and day out we all know this and reverence it and applaud your spectacular efforts. Show more of this to our digital friends and we shall win them back to real photography. Thank you for some real winning work here.

Here's the sort of Selfie I really like to (seldom) see... I mean that we seldom do see. It is really get to seldom see thes real photographs. With a real camera. this is really superior and well done. Very nice. Thank every one involved. A 2.8F on2.8E both are among my favorites... Logan
I agree. I have become the "Rollei - Crazy Man" of our local Camera gang here in Henderonville / Asheville area and have some followers herabouts and some have produced some really stunning works thereby. Keep at it. I have over 20 Rolleis now and Autocord. All working and in use one place or...
Now here we have a real photograph. my friends... a real one, indeed. Sudek would proud of you as am I. Very nice work here, Sir or Madam. Keep at this sort of thing and you shall go very far in my mind, though deranged some say it is. This I like...... Logan
