Keep working the #29 AND IT WILL REWARD YOU WELL... sorry about the cap locks key on the Apple computers.... badly placed and far too large for big fingers.... but the #29 is the way to go in these dramatic landscape shots.... wonderful work here Logan

I happily concur in the evaluation... the very best, but they want tender loving care at all times in all situations. They deserve it and demand it. Logan

  15. How do you get your SL66 on a tripod and which do you use?

Morry, I thought we never got too old to carry an SL66.I'm sure not. At least not yet, anyway! Logan
  16. Bronica EC Question

The Bronica EC is home again and seems to fixed right up. KEH repair did a quick and for all appearences, seems to have done a good job fixing it right up. I don't quite know why I love this old horse so much, but I do. I guess the ones we started with are the ones we love the best. I have a...

I must say I have really enjoyed looking at all of your excellent work, all mostly done with one of my favorite cameras, the Mamiya C220 with an 80mm lens. Your work is sharp and displays a love of the medium and a special love of your family and especially Violeta. I commend you for your...

    Verichrome pan in PMK

My advice: Don't do it in a Jobo. Use tanks. I would start out with the time for Plus X. check the Massive Development Chart for a time and failing to find one there see the Book Of Pyro. Verichrome is too valuable to waste in a Jobo Logan

Now we're gettin there. This it. Probably the best photo I've seen here yet. I mean it, Apart from some images made by The Flying Camera around Paris this year this is really the very best image I have seem in years and that includes my own work tho it pains me to admit that. Superb, Sir...
  22. One Year with Tri-X: An Experiment

This really sounds like a superior idea and one which I find myself considering more and more. But, perhaps with the following caveats: !. Have a backup film developer. May I suggest D23? D23 is so easily made from chemicals that I am tempted to say will always be available. When in fact we all...

    I Think I Want A Fuji 690

I took a pair of these beauties, normal and wide angle, on an extended trip to Glacier Park some years back and they were simply super and my 6 by 9 negatives clearly rivaled my compatriots 4x5s. that dear friend has now gone on along to the darkroom in the sky but we went over the negs when we...

I am very taken with your images and your use of the #25 filter. Most photographers do not do this and miss out on photographs as great as yours. The use of this filter renders the sky as it really looks and should be used by more takers. I often use a @29 for an even more pronounced effect. I...
