    Nikon N8008s (F801s)

I agree with all the positive replies here and they are great cameras for the price or any price. I have both and have had several of them down the years and have given many away to starting photographers along the years. I love them all tho the "s" model has the spot meter which is very nice...

The 500mm F8 lens for Hasselblad

I could not find any words to agree more. A 250 and a 2x doubler are we mere peasants ever might need. I am a mere Rollei SL66 user but am using the same lens kit the 'Blads use and had the great good fortune to take my 4 50+ year old kids to Monument Valley a couple of years back and the 250...

    Bronica GS-1

Tough cameras that have a nice selections of backs. Lack rotation of backs, but that is easy to get over. Is the everything 120 camera for me. But it is not a 'blad. Sturdy, well made. Parts may become a problem as time goes on. Logan

    Rolleiflex T?

I have a couple and they are horses, so to speak. Good solid Rollei cameras. Neither of mine have ever given me any problems of any kind, look great, produce sharp images and are just "Rolleis" Not much else or needs be said about them. Logan

Yes you are, kiddo and a good looking one, too. I used to have one just like you for many years and she was a seet, smart Pal of mine for many years until I left home at 16 to join the Navy and I never saw her again. But you remind me of her and I like that. And I thank you for that. :ove Bill

Ridiculous question about small contact prints

I am fortunate enough to have 6x6 cm contact print made by Josef Sudek. And it IS large enough for me! Beauty like this is large enough for me. Get good enough and what ever you make will be large enough for them. Some of my 5x7 contact prints have sold rather well. And I still love 'em. Being...

Pictures , that is color pictures with a lot of red in them give me a migrain .. really. I can't watch football if one team has red jerseys... really. But photographs with lots of red for me are really good if they have a lot of red and I get a migrain. This did it ... good migrain. IEA Good...

Exceptional ... I am also glad to see that I am not the only one here slogging away with the SL66 of which I have two, the SL66 and a SL66e, which hardly ever gets used, the "e' part seems rather hard to figure out how to use. Would be nice if I could, but can do without so I mainly use the...

The girls are getting prettier every day and your work progresses as well. Do keep at it. I have been quite ill this summer, a bad case of pneumonia and just getting back on my feet. My wife and doctor have removed my driving privileges and grounded me now, so I shall have to restrict myself to...

Going rate for a Tachihara 4x5 with lens?

I've had a Tachie for years now and it gets a little use and will alwaybe in the "kit" which is all my stuff. It is super. You'll fall in love with it as you should and never be able to sell it. Well made and sturdy.... it'll be your Pal for a lot of years I think just as mine did and is... I'd...

    First Medium Format Purchase! Advice!!

I have and vote for a Bronica GS1 for which one can have with (and I do 6x7, 6x6, and 6x4.5 backs.) Now what else could one want in a Medium format system I ask. This unit comes with the usual array of excellent array of exceptional Bronica glass and an equally mind blowing collection of other...

    Which Rollei Would You Keep

I used to have this problem too, but I gave up having problems too and now have about 25 Rolleis of varying models ages and states of use. I like that better. Its way more fun. The value of them is insignifigat compared to other items around the house. So that solves the issue. Use them all...

Your work coninues to amaze and inspire me and many others, I am sure. What a man can do with a P67 is a measure of his soul, I think. Mine must come out of hiding and I shall see if I stillhave one. Thank you for your insiration, Sir..... Logan
  22. Comment by 'whlogan' in media 'Suggestion of a ruin( MSA)'

This is a superior image just as it is. Don't change a thing about it. I should like to see a very big print of this which I expect would be an over powering image with great strength. Ot is terrific ... I really like it... Logan

Do you use all of your cameras?

Oh no and I beat myself up over not doing something about that. I have a lovely Rolleiflex collection that really should be used. About 35 to 40 flex's that want to be used that just don't get used. Now I have begun to give some of them away in hopes they will get used. I gave away a Hasselblad...
