It must be something in the air, I received one of those last Monday. I envy you that 2.8cm Tessar!
Mine came with all of the original accessories; two filters, lens hood, case, as well as the original bills of sale dated 3 July 1937. The only item missing from the set on the invoice is one roll of film!!

Over the weekend I received:

One refreshly CLA'd Zorki Ic (needed new curtains)
A Leitz 50mm f/2 Summar lens (which has gone on to a friend already)
A Leitz 50mm f/3.5 Elmar lens from 1932 in Nickel finish.

Nothing fancy 1961 Fed2.

The only problem I have with it is the shutter release, due to an old rugby injury I can't arch my index finger over the wind on dial. (One reason why I like the position of the shutter release on old Prakticas)

So I'm doctoring a shutter release cable to increase the shutter button height to keep a straight finger.

$107 1937 USD? That must have been a fortune, considering the time value of money? hmm, I think I meant inflation.

The exchange rate I found was 2.48 reichsmarks per USD in 1937. That makes it more like $181.45, plus another 42.75 rm/$17.26 for the accessories. IIRC the camera was priced at $235 in the U.S.; I have a '37 price list but it's not in front of me.
A 1937 Ford coupe cost about $525.
A schoolteacher in 1937 might have made $800 - $1000 per annum.

I'd said I would never buy one unless I got a screaming deal. It happened a few days ago. M3.

I just adopted a Yashica Electro 35 GSN (late model). The shutter button and winder are frozen. Its a great looking camera, so if I can't get it working, its going to the 135 RF shelf in my little "museum".

Just purchased a Bessa R2A from CameraQuest. When I ordered it I got an email saying it was their last r2a and now their out of stock on the store. I wonder if they ever will have more in stock since I'm pretty sure they're discontinued?

Welcome to APUG George.

Bought a canonet ql17 a week or two ago, have run several rolls of tri-x through it since.

I got a rangefinder about three weeks ago -- that is, a Voigtlander accessory rangefinder, marked in feet. It's a little hazy but works well.

A Fed 2B. I bought it from a chap in Ukraine - a bit worried about the source given the circumstances there, but it arrived in 6 days - little more than the Royal Mail can do for a local parcel. Camera is exactly as described - well used but working well.
