Andy, with proper UV light source it will take days and with this Ikea LED lamp weeks to clear it up. Nothing will happen in a few hours.
But there is long winter in head of us, why not..

the 105 I bought was very yellow. I used the Ikea lamp pictured on the previous pageand it cleared it about 90%. There is still some there and I'd be a little hesitant to use it on color film if I went to White Sands NM (down the road from me), but since I don't really shoot color film its really a non issue for me. I doubt it would be very noticable for general purpose color photography. I could probably get it to clear the rest of the way if I left it in the NM sun for a while but I worry about overheating and causing some kind of damage.
