NIce work! I just got a Mamiya super 23 a couple weeks ago, love it, something about its chonk feels so right.

Exactly. For years I thought they were amongst the ugliest cameras but in person they are quite handsome and easy to use. Weight wise they are not as heavy as I have read and handle effortlessly.

Mine has the somewhat rare/unusual (?) Graflok back as I have not seen another one for sale. It works fine for me since I have an RB67 so I can use that film back as well as a Graflex RH12 so I now have 6x6, 6x7 and 6x9 options.

Another Asahi Pentax SV. One of the newer models that can handle a 50mm f1.4. I think I am addicted to these things.

Sent it over to Eric for a cleaning. As soon as it returns I'll post a photo.

Nice, Yeah that is definitely a rarer mod, Ik a lot of people would mod theirs in their own unique ways back in the day. So yours should be a lot of fun!

Awesome. Did your 3003 arrive and is it what you expected? Remind me: the batteries were regular AA or did it use some sort of custom Ni-cads?

It did and it works perfectly thank goodness. The batteries were originally NiCad but I re-cell'd withNiMh, there was an AA option but it's reported as not working as well or reliably as the NiCad (now NiMh) pack.

Nikonos I (circa 1963-1965) I always wanted this model. Found one that had not been diving.

I do not use my Nikonos V for diving, I use it for rainy days. Check the seals for flatness or dryness. Search for replacement seals on the internet and the special underwater grease for Nikonos cameras.

Awesome again. Please post some GAS-generating pics. These 3001 and 3003 cameras were rare in the USA market. The available lenses were some of the best ever, including the 2000mm mirror lens.

Just got it from repair. The shutter was jammed and the "accordion" glowed. I want to know how it is correctly called in English? We have this "accordion" or "fur"

My "rat rod" Rolleiflex 2.8A is finally finished with new leather. Purchased this back in February from a user here on Photrio, but it needed a lot of TLC to be functional.

Luckily, Dan Daniels worked his magic on the camera and, for an incredibly reasonable price, got old "Gertie" back in smooth, fully functional mechanical condition. I put new dark green leather on it today and it's now ready to shoot.

Special thanks to Dan for his stellar work! The camera winds and fires like a new camera; all optics are clean and clear. Aside from the scars of a hard life, the camera functions as new. (any dust on the lenses is my fault from scraping the old glue off the body when installing new leather; that will be remedied)

I found a nice Galvin 2x3 while visiting family recently. Gives me the choice of 2.25x3.25 sheets or an RH-8 roll-film holder.
It came with the 9+5 inch rails for the full 14 inch length. The whole thing with a couple of lenses, darkcloth and odds and ends fits in a sling bag.

I am working on an adapter to mount my existing lenses on Wista/Technika-style boards, and a reel to do six sheets in a Jobo 1520 tank.

A forum member sold me a broken Salyut-S outfit at a price I couldn't pass up, but in order to do something useful with it, I had to teach myself how to fix Salyut cameras. Pretty much every camera repair that I've done involved little model-specific tricks of the trade which were probably taught as part of the factory training process, but which aren't found in service literature, so I'm learning much by a a process of trial and error (mostly error). But at long last, I think the work is done, and it's time to load a roll of film and make some photos.

I expect you are referring to the bellows when you use "accordion.
Accordion means, among other things, one of these:

I think that the part of one of these that has all the folds is also called a bellows, but I'll let the accordion players on Photrio correct me on that .

I scored an Olympus 35SP that belonged to my late Father-in-law. I had no idea he had it. I need to familiarize myself with the controls, but it's in great shape. New battery installed and loaded with HP4+

Low speeds behave like B setting!

That came with three Weston meters (two IV, a V), plus Luna Pros, so I am deep in mercury battery replacement, which I will eventually have to address.

Kodak 1A folder. I am not sure if the cable release thread and depth is compatible with modern cables?

RB67 Pro SD, bought NOS from Japan. Added a NOS 90mm K/L and a Mint 50mm C. There's just something compelling about this beast.

I have a minty 50mm Summilux coming from MAP Camera. Apparently when Leica comes out with the latest, newest version is the time to strike. I don't need it but with all the chaos in the world it makes me feel good 😊

Received a couple of weeks ago a near mint Ricoh GR1s (have been on a bit of a point-and-shoot bender over the past couple of years)...

First roll of APX 400 shot, and will home develop and scan this week.
